My eyes opened up randomly and I look up at the ceiling in confusion. Why did I wake up like that? I looked to the left side of my bed to see if Tha is here. She is not. She might be sleeping somewhere else and as I lay back down in my bed, I heard a crash noise. It didn't come from outside my house, it came from outside my bedroom. I stood up from the bed and opened the door slowly. I feel worried as if someone just broke into my house but it didn't sound like a window shattering.
I saw something at the bottom of the stairs. Something bright. I'm about to go grab my goggles but they're not here. Did I misplace them? When I looked back at the door, the bright thing is still here so I walked out of my bedroom and then down the stairs to see what it is. What's on the floor is a lightbulb and it's just glowing without wires or a light socket. But, how? There is something in front of me. A car. The same car that crashed into the grocery store two nights ago. In front of it is the same woman; my mother. None of this can be real, right?
The living room is not here and it must be outdoors but I'm not wearing my goggles because they're gone. I don't even know what is happening right now. On the ground is the light from the night sky. This cannot be happening. The light began to move towards me as I stepped away from it. I ran up the stairs and straight to my bedroom door. As I opened it, I found myself some place else.
It is not my bedroom so something here is just wrong. I turned back and the door is not there anymore. I'm in the middle of a black void. Someone is standing there in the far distance. I couldn't make out what they look like. I began to walk towards it. As I get closer, the figure starts to get more clear and it's a guy wearing a white suit. Even more closer and the white suit is an astronaut suit from the 1960s and I know exactly who that man is.
"Neil Armstrong."
The man looked at me. He seemed worried about something, but for what? His eyebrows are pointing up at the middle of his forehead, his mouth is halfway open and his hands are shaking. It's hard for me to understand what is happening with him. He finally spoke.
"End it."
A confusion came into my mind. "What?"
"You need to end it."
What do I need to end and why? Just then, a massive circle appeared behind him. It is not just an ordinary circle as its form reveals. This is not happening. The Moon shines it's light down upon me and my body gets heated up. I start to melt away as I scream in pain and everything around me faded away.
My eyes open in the sound of the alarm as I stood up in bed. Tha is standing right next to me as she turned off her alarm. I put my hand on my forehead in relief and then I looked at my clock. It read 6:00 A.M.
"Good morning, Alexa. Today is Sunday, May 10, 2054."
"Yes. Good morning, Tha." I sighed.
"Is there something wrong?" Tha asked.
"Nothing." I shook my head, "Just a bad dream."
"I am sorry to hear that." Tha nodded, "Right now, it is time for breakfast."
I got out of bed and we went over to the kitchen and I cooked some breakfast for myself. I was very hungry as I finally finished cooking the eggs and bacon and put them onto a plate. I made the two slices of toast, the eggs and the bacon into a sandwich. I then eat. One line from my dream is stuck in my head.
"You need to end it."
After the man said it, the Moon showed up but what does that mean?
