Tha and I both sat on the couch in the living room after breakfast. She didn't know what is going on with me as my head hanged down forward. She zoomed her lens into my face and a single beep noise came out of her. I could tell that she can see what my face expression is and how I'm feeling.

"You are feeling stressed. Why is that? Is there something wrong?"

I glanced over to her after I heard her ask a question. Then, I turned my head away. "I don't know what it all means."

Tha tilted her camera head in the same direction as my head. "What do you mean?"

I began to explain what happened. "The dream I had last night. I was in our house at nighttime and there was the same car that ran over my mother. Then, the moonlight moved towards me, and I went through the door and found myself in a void with Neil Armstrong. He told me that I need to end this. After that, the Moon killed me. I don't even know what it all means."

"That seems like a strange dream that you have, Alexa." Tha nodded, "But you know that the Moon is very dangerous."

"I know." I sighed, "I don't know what to stop."

"I cannot compute why Neil Armstrong said it either." Tha shrugged.

This is the most confusing thing that I ever had. They say that dreams are like messages that came from the inside of our heads. I couldn't understand what Neil Armstrong meant. Just as I am about to leave the couch, Tha's notification noise came up. I walked back to her and checked to see what it is. It was an email message from my friend, James Hoffman.

"Alexa Cooper,

There is something that I need to tell you that is important. When I was going to the Moon and finally arrived here, it didn't even affect me when I was on its surface. So, it only happens on Earth. I don't know why the Moon is affecting everyone on Earth and not on its surface but this is really interesting but also kinda strange. I hope that you're doing okay and that you stay safe.

James Hoffman"

This guy who sent me this email lives in England and he is a very calm and nice guy. It said that the Moon doesn't affect anyone on its surface but only on Earth. Neil Armstrong was the first man who walked on the Moon in the late 1960s and he never got affected by it.  John F. Kennedy did make a speech about going to the Moon. They were both fine. Even Tha is okay because she is actually a robot, and robots don't get affected by the Moon when they look at it. Only people and land animals get affected.

"I hope he's doing okay too."

"Yes, Alexa. James Hoffman is sometimes a very careful person." Tha commented.

The good thing is that my phone still has a signal to the space station, Columbia 9. I turned it on and dialed James's number and waited.

His voice finally came up. "Hey, Alexa! Did you get my message?"

"Yes I did." I answered.

"Well, good." James laughed, "As long as nothing bad happens to you every night."

"Actually, something did happen. And, it was only three nights ago."

James paused for a second and continued, "Wait. What happened?"

I explained to him. "I was driving my mother back to her apartment after a camping trip and when she got into the grocery store, a car came and ran her over. I really miss her so much."

"Well that's a sad thing to hear." James sighed, "At least she is in a better place now."

"Yep. She definitely is, alright."

The memory of fear and sorrow came back to me and I can feel it. It clawed my mind after I witnessed the incident that happened a long time ago. I wanted to say something but my vocal chords are a little strangled.

"Alexa? Are you still there?" James wondered.

"Yes I am. Thank you." I nodded, "Okay, well, I'll see you tomorrow."

"Alright. Bye."

We both end our phone call. I put my phone back into my pocket and looked at Tha. She zoomed out her lens and then looked at the sky. She could tell that there is something going on in space.

She turned back to me. "Alexa. Are you sure that you want to go to the Moon?"

I paused and then answered. "Yeah. I'm sure. I gotta go pack our stuff and book our flight tickets to Florida."

I went to my bedroom and turned on my holographic laptop to go to a website that has flight tickets that lead to each destination. There are so many cities in the United States but there is one, however, that is where the Kennedy Space Center is. I clicked the purchase button for our flight tickets and I hope that we will make it there. After that, I pulled my big travel backpack out of my closet and began to pack my stuff inside; my clothes, my laptop, my goggles, my bathroom gear and my flashlight.

As I laid down in my bed, a moment of a flashback swayed into my mind. It was a horrifying tragic past that I had when I was seven years old. My mother lived in her apartment on her own years after she divorced my father. We used to live in a house together a long time ago. My father wasn't being very nice to me or my mother. He was emotionally, verbally, and physically abusive towards us due to his anger issues. He used to kick me out of the house for getting into trouble and he even blamed my mother for his problems. My mom got so sick and tired of being harmed that she broke up with him and she and I moved out of his house and went to a different home. It was a bad memory that I had but I got over it.

The flashback ended and the camera is above me. She zoomed her lens to my eyes in confusion. "Are you awake, Alexa?"

"Yeah. Sorry. I just dozed off."

Tha backed her camera head away as I lifted my head off the bed. I'm feeling very tired but the energy in my body is still going.
