The Moon is so massive and we travelled for a very long time.  Tha, Hicpa and I kept a lookout for incoming things or creatures around us.  I just really felt the anxiety still inside me as I keep my eyes out while sitting next to James who is driving the vehicle.

Martin turns to Taichi.  "Hey.  Why do we have to bring these weapons with us?"

"For our self-defense." said Taichi.

"Yeah.  Because what if they have weapons?" I added, " I mean, this guy had a gun."

"What?!  It did?" Jennifer gasped.

"Yes." I nodded.

"Okay?"

"My dad is a weapon expert and a soldier." Taichi continued, "He taught me how to use them when I was younger long before I became an astronaut."

"That's neat." I smiled, "Maybe we can use these weapons that you made to protect ourselves from those creatures."

Taichi nodded like he agrees with me.  Just as we are halfway, Tha suddenly changed the signal.

"Recalculating: turn right to northwest to the canyon."

"Ignore it, James.  Keep going straight." I coached.

We continue driving in a straight line as Tha and Hicpa get resignalled.  They are totally distracting him but he did try his best to ignore them and followed the direction of the crater.  Two sets of tire tracks appear in our eyes.

"There they are." Martin pointed, "We must've left them behind when we were on our way to the base."

"Perfect.  We must be getting closer." James nodded.

We follow the tire tracks across the lunar soil landscape.  This was the moment when we drove this direction to the Moonbase when the old antenna was damaged.  I don't even know if there are more creatures in that cave but we only got a few miles to go.  I see a hole in the distance.  It grew larger and larger in my view and it is sown to be the crater; the same one that we have been.

"There it is and here we are!" James called out.

We stopped the vehicle at the crater and begin searching for the other tire track that Taichi was talking about.

"Okay.  Where did you see them?" Jennifer asked.

"Well, it should be somewhere.  I just know it." Taichi sighed.

While the group is searching, I step towards the crater.  I wasn't sure if the dead humanoid is still here but I found the same entrance.  I turned on my helmet's light and begin searching for the body.  I see them.  My own footsteps.  I followed them through the cave in the darkness until I see it.  It's still here.  I ran up to it and checked it.  It really does have a gun in it's hand.  The gun looks like a wedding ring but made of stainless steel and it's handgrip part is oval shaped.  There is another device in it's pocket.  I took it out and it looks like a thermal imager but it's monitor is circular shaped.  There is something behind the stalagmites.  I walked around them and what I found is some sort of a vehicle.  It is a monowheel vehicle with a single driver seat in the center and armrests on the sides.  I sat down on the seat and looked for something that can start the engine.  There is nothing but an oval shaped screen in front of me.  I tapped it and I felt the rumbling on my back.  The monitor and the headlight both turned on.

Jennifer asks me through the walkie talkie.  "Alexa!  Where the hell are you?"

"I'm in the tunnel." I replied.

"Well then, get out of here.  You're making us worried."

I tightened my fingers on the armrests and the vehicle moves forward.  Wait.  There is a button underneath each armrest.  This thing is a weird motorcycle.  I begin to drive the vehicle and away from the body leaving it behind while carrying the two devices with me.  As I drive out of the crater, the group are wearing worried faces.  They looked at the vehicle and the two things that I have in my hands.

"What are those?  Where did you get them from?" Martin questioned.

"It's vehicle and those are it's devices." I showed them.

"Okay.  Well, leave them and let's get moving." Taichi sighed.

The thermal imager-like device in my hand shows a flashing blue dot on the screen.  I pressed the button and Tha and Hicpa both said the same thing.

"Recalculating: our destination is three meters away."

James grunted.  "Will you stop it?"

The device.  It actually attracts and controls the GPS.  How about that.  I saw the single trail leading out of the crater and then I turn to them.

"Guys.  I think I know why their messing with us."

"You do?" Jennifer glanced, "What is it?"

I drove to the trail.  "I'll explain later.  Let's follow the trail."

As we begin the follow the trail, the vehicle that I'm driving is increasing speed.  I hold the armrests and let them go multiple times to slow it down a tiny bit.  The trail seems to never end.

"Seriously.  You just stole a vehicle from a weird guy?" Jennifer sighed.

"It's dead." I barked, "Just forget about that guy."

I knew exactly what those beings are doing and what they're using.  The trail leads directly to a canal but I saw something.  They all look like upside down crane claws and they're the same.  I turned the vehicle around and stopped it.  The group stopped too.

"See those things over there?" I pointed to those machines.

"Yeah?  What are they?" Taichi asked.

I look up at the Earth; it is nighttime there and then I look back at the machines.

"Just watch."

We all begin to watch.  The machines' base lit up and the claw tops open up slowly.  In the center at the top of them each, beams shoot out.  I continued.

"You see that?  That's what those machines are for."

"You mean..." Jennifer gasped as she paused.

"Yes." I nodded, "These beings built those machines to harm the people on Earth every night."

"Oh my God.  Really?" Martin gasped.

"Let's keep following the trail." I said.

We continued to follow the trail through the canal.  The canal is so long that it takes ten minutes to get to the other side.  There is something appearing in the distance.  It looks tall but as we got closer, it seems much more clear.  The building really does look like a castle with smaller ones connected by walls.  This is it.  It's the tower.
