I went into the bathroom and I am getting ready for to take a shower. My android is outside the room and I couldn't see what she's doing but everything seems to be okay with her. I step into the shower stall and turned on the shower head and closed the fiberglass door behind me.
I rubbed my hair against the falling water until it became soft and loose just before I drip shampoo from the automatic liquid soap dispenser. The feeling of thick slime on my hand along with the smell of vanilla made me thought of something good in my head, like a field of flowers. I scrubbed the shampoo all over my hair until bubbly suds appear. As I rinsed the shampoo suds off, an image of my mother appeared in my head. I really miss her so much. Another one is the castle-like building and the lights on the Moon. It stayed in my head and it kept bothering me. Every piece of memory clawed onto me and never lets go. The signs I see might lead me to something. Something unknown. I continued to have a shower until my hair is finally clean. I turn the water off and grabbed a towel to dry myself off with it. I then put on fresh clothes and put the space suit back on and walked out of the bathroom.
"Come on, Tha." I called, "Let's go down to the surface."
"With pleasure."
We both looked out the window to see the dark side of the Moon. We've had lots of time. We left my cabin room and begin to gather the gang. First we stop by at Martin as I press the doorbell button.
Martin opened the door. "Hey, Alexa. What's up?"
I thought of a plan. "We're gonna get our way to the Moon's surface."
"What? How?"
"We're gonna take one of the spacecrafts."
Martin's eyes widened with shock. He isn't sure if it's a good idea. "Seriously? Why do we wanna do that?"
I thought about what I'm going to explain the 'why' question but it just didn't come out. I grabbed his arm and we went to Jennifer's cabin and I knocked.
She opened the door. "Alexa. Martin. Tha. What's going on?"
I turn to Martin. "Martin? Can you call the two other guys?"
Martin is getting a little irritated like as if something is important. "Why do I have to?! Okay. I'll do it." He then took out his cell phone and dialed the phone number.
Jennifer looked back at her room and then back at us. "Seriously. What is going on?"
Tha explains to Jennifer. "Ms. Williams. We are going to the surface of the Moon to find out what the cause of it's ability is. We are going to need a spacecraft to get there."
Jennifer drops her jaw. "What? For real?"
James and Taichi both jumped out of the elevator while wearing surprised faces. Not like excited but a little worried. Hicpa is also with them.
"You're gonna steal a spacecraft?!" Taichi gasped, "Seriously. Why?"
"Okay. Everyone, settle down!" James begged, "Alright. Why don't we just ask someone if we can borrow a spacecraft instead?"
We all looked at each other and then we nodded with agreement. "Yes. Yes, that's a great idea." I said.
We hopped into the elevator and dropped down to the docking station. A crew member is at the airlock as we walked up to him.
"Excuse me, sir." I asked, "You don't if we can borrow a spacecraft?"
The man glances between the airlock and us. He then shrugged. "Okay. You can go ahead. Yes. But, please be careful with it. Alright?"
"We promise." Hicpa agreed.
He hands out each helmet and astronaut gear for one of us and we put them on along with our goggles. We get prepared as the crew member sucks the air out and then opens the airlock. I felt myself getting my feet lifted off the floor. We floated through the airlock door and outside.
Outside, there are spaceships everywhere. Some of them belong to the NASA crew and some belong to the astronauts. We found it. It's the perfect spacecraft. It has a cockpit at the top, four legs, rocket boosters, an antenna at the center top above the cockpit, an airlock and the doors on it's belly. It's like a mix between a lunar lander and a space shuttle.
"Come on guys! In here!" Jennifer called.
We floated to the spacecraft's airlock and James opens it and we crawled inside. We then closed it quickly.
Inside are seats, a mini kitchenette, hammocks, a storage unit, a television, a CB radio and two seats in the cockpit.
James and Martin climbed into the cockpit and Jennifer, Taichi, Tha and I sat in the passenger seats. I pray as the spaceship starts the engine and James and Martin talking.
"Alright, Martin. Let's turn right and full throttle forward."
"Okay. Right and forward."
The spaceship turns right and then it moves forward away. I can finally see Columbia 9. It is shaped like a giant stielhandgranate with a hoop which is the cafeteria, three rings made of solar panels four satellite dishes on top and the arboretum with the bridge above it.
I gasped with satisfaction. "This is so amazing."
The bright side of the Moon is near as we begin to drop down slowly towards it's surface.
"Alright, ladies and gentlemen. We are going to the Moon like Neil Armstrong." James cheered as he and Martin steer the rocket.
Our falling speed is starting to increase. I can feel myself being pulled towards the surface and same thing with everyone. It almost feels like riding a roller coaster. The alarm suddenly went off as the two guys struggle to control the rocket.
"We're coming in too fast! Slow down the vehicle at full throttle!" James yelled.
"Okay! Everybody, hold on!" Martin called.
I feel the rocket thrusters blasting jet flames and the spaceship slowing down. Hicpa jiggles from the falling spaceship and a thud noise echoed through the interior.
"Is everyone okay?" Martin called.
"We're okay." Taichi called back as gave out a thumbs up.
"The Moon's not gonna hurt us now that we're on it's surface." Jennifer sighed.
We took off our goggles and opened the door. As we stepped outside, we can finally see the gray rocky world around us. Craters, mountains and even piles of rocks.
