"What is it?" I asked, trying to hide my nervousness inside me.

"He told me that you became distant from him." She told me with concern.

"What? He's the one who became distant first." I rolled my eyes and reached for my phone.

"What? You haven't told anything to me."

"Well... I saw him with Richein. They became close. He isn't talking to me for weeks. These past few days, he's already talking to me but I chose to ignore him. He became distant from me first. So why would I waste my time talking to him again?" I explained.

"I see. But do you know the reason behind this? You're being one sided sweetie. Know his side first." She said.

I looked at her and think about it. Maybe she's right. I'm still young for this.. but why do I feel these things already? Maybe because having a boyfriend around 14 years old were normalized here in our kingdom. You just have to know your limits.

"So class choose your partner. You'll be needing a partner for our whole entire practice." Our teacher said. I just chose Alvin since he doesn't have a partner yet.

I saw Richein's partner.... it's Blaze. So they're back together huh? Or maybe they're just close. I don't know, I don't care.

"Hey sweetheart, aren't you going to prom?" Mom knocked at the door while I'm lying down in my pajamas playing on my phone. I just... don't want to go to prom. I don't know... Bry has an escort. How about me? I'll feel lonely there.

"I'm not going." I said and covered myself using my comforter.

"Hey. What's the problem? Having an escort isn't necessary at prom. The important thing is that you'll enjoy." She said.

"How will I enjoy? Bry has an escort. What about me? I'll feel out of place there." I faced her.

"Bry will always be there for you. Prom is one of the memorable moments of being a high school student, do you know that? So don't waste it." She smiled and helped me get up to force me to take a bath.

I showered and put on a facial mask for tonight so my face would be soft and moisturized. Mom curled my hair and she put it in a bun, leaving some strands of hair, falling in front of my face.

I wore a pair of silver Chanel heels which mom bought me as a gift when I turned 14 last year. I wore the necklace that I treasured the most. It's th necklace I'm wearing ever since I was a baby.

It has a crown picture inside it. It's actually a locket. It looks like it's expensive. When I asked mom where did they bought it, she said someone customized it for me.

"You look good!" She said when she finished doing my makeup and hair. My dress was a strapless dress that emphasizes my collar bones and necklace. "Smile!" Mom pinched my cheeks and forced me to smile.

I smiled genuinely. "Perfect! Bry's waiting for you downstairs." She smiled and left the room. I grabbed my phone and wallet, I put it inside my silver purse before leaving the room.

"Hi! You look great!" Bry said and hugged me when she saw me.

"You too," We both chuckled. We're very excited! "We'll go already! Good bye!" I waved my hand and make sure I didn't left anything.

"Enjoy the night!" Mom shouted before we left the house.

"Hi!" Our other friends greeted us.
