Eight

"Uh... did you meet the queen?" Mom asked me.

"Yeah. She's so pretty, she's really kind to me." I smiled.

Her brows furrowed. "She's kind to everyone, sweetie." She corrected. What's wrong with what I've said? Why is her reaction like that?

I went straight to the bathroom to do my skincare. I wore my pink pajamas before going to bed. I turned on my TV, finding some movies to watch. I ended up watching a series. I stayed up until 4 am, finishing the series.

I felt sleepy so I slept after watching the series. I ended waking up around 2:00 in the afternoon. Good thing mom went outside to buy groceries or else she'll scold me for staying up all night again.

I tied my hair in a bun and grabbed my glasses with me before going to the bathroom to wash my face. I wore my glasses while going down the stairs. Mom's probably still at the grocery store.

I saw a note at the kitchen counter. While I'm finding food to eat.

'Just cook the egg there.'

I opened the fridge and saw 2 eggs. I just got one and boiled it. While waiting for it to be ready, I leaned my waist against the kitchen counter.

I scrolled through my phone and a message popped up.

From: Blaze

Are you free tomorrow?

I thought about it for a second if I have any plans for tomorrow. I realized that I don't have since it's summer vacation.

To: Blaze

Yeah I'm free, why?

I placed my phone at the kitchen counter and prepared my food. I just ate at the counter since we have a stool there. I wonder why he didn't reply again. I just cooked pancakes and sliced mangoes as the toppings.

"Hi mom." I kissed her on the cheek and helped her with the groceries. I organized some of them in the pantry while the other ones are in the fridge.

"Did you shower already?" She asked me and sat on the couch.

"Not yet. Do I look fresh that much?" I joked.

"Yes sweetie. Just like me." We both chuckled. I hugged her but she let me go. "Go shower. You smell bad already." She chuckled. My brows furrowed and crossed my arms over my chest, acting that I'm pissed. She just laughed at me.

I went straight to the shower and did my skincare. I put on my facial masks since mom bought a lot at the mall. I relaxed my face and just opened the TV to watch some TV shows.

I was laughing by myself and sometimes crying. The TV shows were in different genre! My emotions were already mixed.

I fell asleep after that. I don't want to change my body clock so I chose to sleep early again. I woke up 8:30 in the morning the next day.

I washed my face and tied my hair in a ponytail. I wore my glasses before going down stairs. "Good morning mom." I greeted her and grabbed a glass of water inside the fridge.

"Mom, did you see my earphones?" I asked her.

"You left it here yesterday." She said and handed me my earphones. Yeah! Right! I left it on the kitchen counter.

I decided to go shower since I feel hot already. I showered and wore a large black shirt partnered with my blue dolphin shorts.

I was brushing my hair at the couch while scrolling through my phone when I heard the gate opened. My hair was still wet since I just came out from the shower so the couch was a bit wet. Mom doesn't like the couch being wet.
