"Happy birthday!" I greeted Blaze when I saw him inside the coffee shop. I told him that we'll meet here first so we can go together inside the university.

"Thank you!" He smiled and stood up to order food for us. "Same order?" He asked. I nodded before he left and went to the counter. He already knew what will I order. I always order a croissant and a hot chocolate.

"Here." I gave the small box to him. That's my Christmas gift and my birthday gift for him as well. I didn't gave him a Christmas gift since his birthday is close to Christmas.

"Open it." He stared at it for a while before opening it. He untied the ribbon and unlocked it. It's a bit expensive though. I grabbed the box out of his hand to get the bracelet. I slowly hooked the bracelet on his wrist.

He got curious and opened the pendant. It's a small circle pendant that has a picture of a tiara that I'm always pointing out. "Is this suppose to be yours?" He said and furrowed his brows.

"No. It's yours." I said and sipped on my hot chocolate.

"Why are you giving me a tiara? I'm not a princess." He chuckled. I leaned closer to him.

"No that's not what I meant. Whenever you see that tiara, you'll always remember me." I said and sat properly.

I took a bite on my croissant while he's still staring at me. "What?" I raised a brow.

"What a deep meaning." He shook his head and placed the box inside his bag.  "Let's go." He said and grabbed my wrist while I'm finishing my last sip on my hot chocolate.

"Wait!" I said and grabbed my bag with me.

"Class, today's topic is a bit serious since you will go through this. You will experience this. Our topic is about traditional color detector." She said and drew a machine on the board.

'When will you tell her the truth?'

Ugh! That phrase keeps playing and playing again inside my mind. "Y'all will turn 16 next year right? But some of you were already 16. To those student who's 16 already, next month will be the examination. They will do a test on your body." Our teacher said.

Our classmates who are 16 already were already exaggerating. They were afraid about the process.

"Class, no need to be afraid of it. You will just fill up some form and then proceed inside a room where you will see this machine." Our teacher pointed at the drawing.

"They will inject you something so you can sleep while you're inside the machine. They will also get your blood to know the truth." She added.

Gosh! I'm scared of needles! Ugh! Why do we need to undergo through this! Can't we just pay for it? Ugh! This is stressing me out.

"Miss is there any options if we don't want to undergo in this?" I raised my hand and asked.

"No, there's no option." She shook her head and smiled at me.

"Ms. what happened when you undergo in that when you turned 16?" One of my classmate asked.

"Well, my parents are my real parents." She chuckled. I hope that'll happen to me also.

"Hey!" Bry waved her hand in front of me.

"Oh! Sorry." I said when I realized I'm already staring at the book for a long time. We're here at the library, doing some research.
