"We will meet your father." Mother informed me while they're teaching me how to play Archery."Ooh... damn—" The arrow landed at the bullseye. Bry... I mean Germaia covered her mouth when she realized the way she talked. I just laughed at her.
"Shush." I whispered, hopefully mother didn't hear it.
"I'm tired, let me continue it tomorrow." I said and put the bow down before going to my room to change my outfit into a dress.
"You look amazing playing Archery! You looked like a pretty warrior." Germaia laughed while I'm choosing my clothes for today.
"Stop. Don't be so kind to me." I rolled my eyes. I ended up choosing a blue flowy dress. I tied my wavy hair in a half ponytail.
"They're waiting for you." Madam Georgina told me when we were about to go downstairs. I just nodded and make sure that my postures were right before I went to the royal dining room. Germaia was just following me from behind.
"Oh! Darling! You're here! Come!" Mother said and gestured me to take a seat beside her. Father was sitting at the middle while Breipeia was sitting in front of me, not looking at us.
B*tch face! Ugh.
"So.... my darling? Princess Brooklyn?" I saw the king's eyes began to water while saying those words. "It's been years." The king.... my father wiped his tears.
"F-father?" I smiled. It feels so nice to call them that way. I don't feel empty anymore. Its just that I'm still not used to being with them... knowing that they're my real family.
I still can't forget the family I used to know, the family I used to love.
He stood up and went to me to give me a hug. I hugged him back. I saw Breipeia rolled her eyes and whispering something. She was glaring at me every time mother and father won't look at her.
"Let's eat?" I suggested and we took a seat.
"What a pretty lady. You look like your mother." Father chuckled.
"I got my nose from you." I said and pointed at his nose. We both have pointed nose. We just laughed and talked about stuffs. No wonder I can't find any of my features from mom and dad, it's because they're not my real parents. I got my features from the king and queen. Ever since I was little, mom would always scold me about asking her about royals. But I don't blame her for that, I still love her. She's just protecting me because she loves me.
After that, I went to the kitchen to help the servants and to explore things. I'm really bored here. I'm not used to doing nothing.
"Stop playing around." I hear Breipeia say behind me while I was roaming around the kitchen.
"What do you mean?" I said not facing her.
"Stop being a 'good daughter', it doesn't suits you." She grabbed my wrist so tight making me face her.
"Why don't you try to be a good daughter also?" I raised a brow.
She stayed silent and looked away. "I don't need that. I want YOU out of here." She smirked.
"Really? Then kick me out of here. I don't care anyway. What do you want from me huh?" I furrowed my brows. I don't even know what did I do making her so mad at me. I'm trying to be nice as much as I can but still, she won't let me go.
"I want you to stop getting mother and father's attention and love. Stop lying, I know you're not Brooklyn. I know you only want the throne." She sarcastically laughed. So it's the throne that's bothering her all the time?
