I scoffed. "So? Why are you here? We just saw each other yesterday." I chuckled, forgetting what he said."Nothing. I'm bored. Just want someone to be with." He said while we're walking around the big garden.
"You don't have a friend?" I chuckled. He must have one. Everyone has a friend.
"I do. He's in Wilsania." He glanced at me for a second.
I stopped walking when I realized that it was the guy he's gonna refer to me. "What is he? Your classmate? A relative?" I asked and continued walking.
"No, he's a prince." He smirked.
"Really?" I looked really surprised since I haven't met the Prince of Wilsania yet. I've been only there for like one time. Mom and dad won't allow me.
"Yeah, that's why I thought you two would look good together." He said making me look at him.
"I thought?" I said pertaining to what he have said. Why? Don't we really look good together?
"Yeah, just a thought. But now I think 'we' would look great together." He raised his brows playfully, emphasizing the word 'we'.
"Such a flirt." I hissed.
"Really? Is that what you call flirting? You experience those kind of things already? You're still young." He shook his head.
"You sound like my dad right now." I chuckled, making him look at me. Ugh! I can feel the tears started to build in my eyes again. I looked up in the sky to prevent it from falling.
"Are you okay?" He looked at me, maybe he noticed I can't look at him straight. It's because of my tears! I don't want to cry in front of him!
"Yeah, I-I just missed mom and dad." I chuckled and looked away to wipe my tears who fell already.
"Hey, it's fine. If you wanna cry, then cry. Don't stop yourself from doing so." He smiled at me.
"I'm fine." I gave him an assuring smile.
We ended up helping the maids pick some root crops like what he said earlier. I didn't even realized that we're already laughing and pushing each other all the time. He would sometimes joke around, making the maids laugh.
"Your Royal Highness." I heard the other maid called me.
"Why?" I smiled at her.
"You're really different from Duchess Breipeia." She smiled at me, surveying my look.
"W-what do you mean?" I tilted my head a little. A lot of people would always tell me that. Is Breipeia that bad?
"She would always ask us to do something. She would even scold us. You're the only person I could tell about this since I can't tell the queen." She smiled a bit. "But it's really our job to do things you ask us to do, I'm just saying that you are really different from her." She bowed and continued picking some root crops.
I wonder how Breipeia treat the palace servants. I mean she has the right to ask them do things but.... even mother doesn't ask the maids do a lot of things that much. Maybe I'm not really used to see others doing such things for me.
"Come inside, Your Royal Highness." The maid opened the door for me, letting me go inside. They said mother and father wants to see me.
