Heartbroken

Diary Entry

"Alright. I'm not going to sugarcoat it, I'm going to confess my feelings for Luz today." Amity hit the pen against her hand.

"It has been quite a long time and to tell you the truth, it is getting pretty exhausting having to try and hide it from her. And for some reason, I am not sure how she hasn't found out yet because of all the blush I get around her, but to each their own I suppose. Am I using that correctly?"

Amity sighed, focusing once again.

"To try and get back on topic, I need a place to confess to her, memorable places would be the most beneficial so...where exactly?"

"•The Manor"

"•The Owl House"

"•The market"

"•The school???"

"•Grom Tree"

"Uggh..." Amity groaned, slumping in her chair. "This is harder than I thought...what's so difficult about finding a place to confess?!"

Amity was immediately interrupted by the scroll that was laying next to her started buzzing, alarming Amity that she should be heading off to school.

"Unfortunately, that is all I have time for at the moment, school is starting soon, I will do my best to situate this problem later." Amity closed her diary and sighed once again, getting up from her writing table.

She pulled the cowl over her head and made her way over to her mirror, tying her hair up into her usual ponytail.

"Edric! Emira! You better be ready when I'm finished or I'm leaving you!" Amity called out, getting a small laugh out of the amount of commotion coming from their rooms after that.

"Almost done Mittens, hold on!" her sister said, her voice slowly and slowly getting less muffled until Emira's door swang open, revealing her sister in her school attire. "Geez, if I had known any better, I would've thought you wanted to leave us!" Emira walked over to her sister, ruffling her hair.

"Emira!!" She fixed up her hair. "Geez, I just got finished tying this up! Maybe I should leave you two!!" She yelled.

"Aww, come on Mitteeens! You know you love us!" Emira squished her little sister's face, resulting in a swat in the face from Amity. "Oww!!"

Just then, Edric opened up his door and layed his arms over his two sister's shoulders, enthusiastically speaking, "Heya gang!"

"Edric, I swear to gods, get off of me!!" Amity yelled, trying to get out of his brother's embrace.

"Someone's feisty this morning." Edric replied, giving her sister a big hug.

"Let go of me!! We need to start heading to school!!!"

"Alright alright." Edric let her go. "Geez, if I knew any better, I would've thought-"

"Already said it!" Emira called out, defeating her brother. 

"Aww man..."

"Come on already!! I want to get to school!!"

"Oooo, Amity, you finally going to confess to your dear Luz?" Emira teased, taking the form of Luz, while Edric took the form of Amity with the help of their illusions.

"Oh Romeo! Oh Romeo!!" They both took off the illusion, laughing at their little skit while their little sister had a red face.

"Screw it, I'm leaving you guys forever, have a good life." Amity took off downstairs and left the manor, the two following after her.

"What?! You want Sleeping Beauty then!? 'Kiss me so I wake up Luz!'"

"SHUDDUP!!!"

The Blight family left for Hexside, and before anyone knew it, hell was about to strike.
