Chapter XV

Stronger

I had told Xavier I would need a private room for the spell and he gave me a room that nobody had used or touched except for cleaning which was perfect.

He refused to leave the room with me so he stayed there as I started the spell.

This was gonna be a big one so I knew I'd need the major items. Salt, a map, a rogue's blood, candles.

I set the map down on a table and dropped some blood in the center.

It was a map of his pack land.

The salt was the border of the map and the candles would give me more power. I would sort of channel the power from the heat or fire; the element.

"This is gonna take a lot out of me so if I faint, don't worry. And do not, under any circumstance, disturb me." I instructed Xavier, not knowing where I got the balls to talk to him like that from.

"Yes ma'am." he happily grinned.

"Situm ostendere aciem." I began the spell, kneeling in front of the table.

"Situm ostendere aciem." I repeated, feeling the heat from the candles give me more power.

"Situm ostendere aciem." I chanted once more.

"Situm ostendere aciem."

"Situm ostendere aciem."

"Situm ostendere aciem." I was starting to feel weaker and weaker by each word I would pronounce.

"Situm ostendere aciem." I spoke, barely above a whisper.

All of a sudden, Xavier's hand latched onto my arm and I felt more power than ever before.

Once he saw I was okay, he moved his hand but I grabbed it.

What is he doing?

"Situm ostendere aciem." I chanted one final time before opening my eyes and seeing where the blood had spread.

"That's where they're gonna attack from. Leave the paper here, where the blood ends up, is where they'll attack." I stood up.

"My girl." he murmured to himself and I blushed.

His hand brushed a piece of my hair away and we just gazed into each other's eyes.

My eyes moved to his lips just as his did mine.

I really wanna kiss him!

I slowly started to lean in, hoping he would get the hint. Gladly, he did.

He closed the gap between us and our lips merged.

His lips were so soft, I didn't think I'd ever get enough. He bit my bottom lip, asking for permission, and I just opened my lips wider for him.

His tongue dived straight in and explored every corner of my mouth. I couldn't help it when the moan slipped out as his tongue brushed mine.

Fireworks.

His hands moved down, gripping my butt as my hands moved to his hair, tangling themselves in and pulling every once in a while.

After a minute of our hot make out, we both pulled away to catch our breaths. Me more than him.

"Damn.." he whispered.

"Oh fucking hell!" he groaned after a while of pure silence.

"What's wrong?" I looked up curiously.

"I have some business I need to attend to but don't worry princess, I'll see you soon okay?" He spoke and I nodded.

He gave me a small peck on the lips and led us out of the room.

He went towards his office and I went back into the room and just laid on the bed, thinking about what just happened.

Before I knew it, I was falling asleep.

"Hello Danielle." The woman spoke.

"I-It's you, what're you doing here?" I asked the woman who I hadn't seen in four years.

"I could sense your dilemma so here I am to answer any question you have. Sit please." she pointed to a chair that I'd not seen before.

I sat down and began our conversation.

"What was that with Xavier when I was doing the spell?" I asked the biggest question on my mind.

"Xavier is your mate, your other half. He is also a werewolf, an Alpha might I add. His power and your mate bond, strengthens you and your magic. When he marks you, you'll be stronger than this but when you complete the mate bond fully, you'll be unstoppable." she explained.

"But I wasn't channeling him." I curiously spoke.

"You didn't need to, he's your mate. When your weak, he strengthens you. When he's weak, you strengthen him." she smiled.

"Thank you. When next will I see you?" I asked, not having any other question come to mind.

"I'm not sure, but when you desperately need me. I'll be here." she hugged me before departing and I woke up.

"Baby, you okay?" I saw Xavier standing over me with worried eyes.

"Y-Yeah th-that lady was back again." I told him as I sat up and made room for him to sit with me.

"What lady?" he asked me.

"The one I saw in my dreams when I was younger, that I told you about." I explained as best as I could.

"Ohh, what'd she say?" he asked while rubbing my arm up and down.

"When we were doing the spell earlier and I almost fainted but you grabbed me, I felt a surge of power and she said it's because you're my mate that you'll, mark me and I'll be stronger. And when the mate bond is complete, I'll be unstoppable. What does that mean?" I asked him.

"When I mark you, it's basically me biting your neck, to ward off other werewolves and claim you as mine. Completing the mate bond means we, uh, we have sex." he explained and my eyes bulged out of my head.

"S-Sex?" I was getting flustered and I could barely think.

"Yes sex." he chuckled.

"But we won't do anything until you're ready. So don't worr-" he was interrupted by a loud bang in his house.

He jumped up and his eyes glazed over.

"A rogue came inside the house. There was a fight but we captured him." He explained to me.

"Go attend to them, I'll be fine." I smiled to him before standing up and holding his hands.

"I can't just leave you here unprotected. What if something happens and I can't talk to you?" his thumb brushes the side of my cheek.

"Don't worry. Stand still and think about me." I spoke.

"Already am." he made me blush.

I grabbed his hands and started chanting, "Ex animo loqui."

"Ex animo loqui."

"Ex animo loqui."

"Ex animo loqui." I spoke for the final time.

'I'll be fine.' I told him through our new way of communication.

'God you're hot!' he smiled

'Stop!' I blushed dragging out the p.

"Now go Ill be fine." I smiled at him.

He placed his lips on mine and we just shared a kiss before he pulled away, "I'll see you soon."

He walked out and left and I went to my new spell room.
