Out of no where, Xavier lunged at Brad, turning into his wolf. His eyes shined a bright hazel before going completely black.

His wolf was mesmerizingly beautiful. He had jet black fur with a small white crown shape on the side of his neck. His fur looked so soft.

He loud out a loud howl and all the pack members transformed before charging at Brad's rogues, turning this into a bloodbath.

Lily quickly came rushing to my side and untied the rope on my arms. "Thank you so much!" I smiled at her while rubbing my wrists. "My Luna, I need to get you out here safely." she hinted at me to follow her.

"I can't. I shouldn't leave the pack and my mate here." I told her. "I understand but the Alpha would be angry at me for not doing what he asked." I smiled at her, "Let me worry about him. It'll be fine." I held her hands.

She gave a sincere smile before nodding and changing to her wolf, joining the battle.

'Tell the pack to back up.' I was ready.

Soon, the pack started moving backwards, keeping their eye on Brad and his rogues in case they tried anything.

'Salt. Around them. Except Brad.'

I saw two wolves run off and I assumed he told them to get the salt. I was extremely terrified. As if he knew how I was feeling, Xavier came up to me and softly rubbed his fur on my leg. I leaned down and ran my fingers through him.

A loud growl ripped my attention from Xavier. Brad was growling at us, not only because of our intimate moment but because his rogues were trapped in the salt barrier.

'You can do this princess. Don't be embarrassed. Show them what you can do.' I looked down at Xavier, touched by his words.

I nodded and took a deep breath.

Howls could be heard as the fire started to light up.

"Lumine ignis ardentem." I chanted one final time before opening my eyes and seeing a huge fire where the wolves once were.

I was feeling tired but not as much as I had been the last time. Maybe Xavier's wolf has more power but it definitely helped.

Two wolves ran up to Brad's and carried him away. His face still stunned at what he'd just seen.

Xavier nudged my arm towards the pack house so I started walking and he began to follow me. We got in our room and Xavier changed back to his normal body self.

I was not expecting to see him fully naked and my eyes trailed down his body. Barely even feeling ashamed that I was blatantly staring at his cock. All of a sudden, Xavier's hand was under my chin and he brought my face up to gaze into his eyes.

"What's wrong?" I asked Xavier as he walked in. He said he was going to go check up on Brad in the cells while I laid on the bed, reading. "He won't talk to me or anyone. I've tried threatening him, making empty promises but he isn't talking." Xavier fell on the bed, laying his head on my stomach.

"I can talk to him." I suggested quietly. I knew he wouldn't let me but I wanted to offer, to try and help. "Only if I'm there with you." he murmured quietly. "Do you wanna sleep?" I asked and he nodded.

I put the book down and told him to lay on my chest. Once we were both comfortable, I started running my hands through his hair. I gave him a final kiss before he dozed off.

I turned on the tv and started watching Netflix. I decided to rewatch The Vampire Diaries for the millionth time. Elena was currently denying her feelings for Damon.

I didn't even what I would do or say when I saw Brad. I can't believe he would even do something like that. Even if I didn't have to move back here, I could never see myself marrying him or going past a simple dating relationship with him.

Would he have kidnapped me?

Xavier let out a low growl and I immediately knew he was subconsciously in my head.

'Get out of my head.' I spoke before putting up a wall in my mind to keep him out.

I needed to talk to Brad but I didn't want to wake Xavier and stress him even further.

He's gonna hate me for this.

I carefully moved him off of me, trying not to wake him up. When he was on a pillow instead of me, I paused the show and got out of bed. I tiptoed across the room and looked back to still see him sleeping.

I grabbed the handle and was ready to run out of here. "Where are you going?" I froze.
