I woke up with heavy breathing as I heared the voice of Jamie echoing in my head, begging the Red coat to kill him next and not to spare his life.
I had heared the gunshots that killed Rupert, I heared the other soldiers pray, I had feel his fear and pain, mine hand went to the inside of mine left thight where I still felt the faint pain of the wound that Jamie had there. It had felt infected and very painfull and I wondered if his leg got amputed after he survived.
Unable to sleep I stood up and walked out of mine bedroom. The living room was still filled with boxes from my dad' and Ray' research and I opened the one that was labeld Lallybroch.
I rumaged to the papers but stopped when I stumbeld on a bible. The same bible that Jenny and Jamie had read in when we where in Lallybroch. I opened it and the first thing I saw where the names of Jenny' childeren.

As I turned another page my heart stopped when I saw the names of me and Jamie

James Alexander Malcolm Mackenzie Fraser ~ Greer Madeleine Fraser- Von Holland

Unknown Child B: Unknown.

I bearly holded in a tear. Jamie had told Jenny apperantly of mine pregnancy and Jenny founded it important enough to have writen it down in the bible.
"Greer?" A voice behind me spoke and I turned around to see my father.
"Well if I have told them mine name was Skye, they wouldn't believe mine story," I sat down. "This bible, Jamie loved to read into it," I pressed the bible to my chest. "What if we won't find him, that the trace just stopped after Ardsmuir?" I asked him and he looked at me.
"I will not rest until I found him and have send you and Eilidh back to him," He promised and I smiled at him.
"Thank you dad," I whisperd and he simply smiled.
"Your welcome." He gave me a tight hug. "Ray and I figured out that the time line of you both are the same, if Jamie is still alive, it would be for him also 8 years after you left, so he would be there in 1756,"
"So we have to find papers that put him somewhere in 1756," I looked around a saw a box labled Hellwater. "I haven't seen that box." I walked towards it.
"Ray tought it was improtant, one of the stableguys was called Alexander MacKenzie, He was a Scottish prisoner." My dad explained.
"Alexander Mackenzie?" I asked and let mine finger linger on the top. "How long has he stayed there?"
"Two years from 1756 to 1758, James was released from prison in 1756 after he had sat a sentence for three years." My dad sat down.
"So it is Jamie," I said and my dad shrugged his shoulders.
"We don't know but we keep it open," He took another paper out of the box. "We also track down Fergus,"
"Fergus," I spoke the name outloud with love. "Did you find him?" But I knew the answer.
"He staid with Jenny and then also dissapeard in 1758." he answerd.
"So he is with Jamie, if we find Fergus we find Jamie." I sounded way to excited.
"Maybe, now go back to bed," He helped me up. "Tomorrow we look further."
I nodded. "See you tomorrow,"
"I indeed see you tomorrow," he kissed my cheek. "We will find him and you will be reunited with him, I promise."
And with that and a glimpse of more hope I went to bed again.
