I was pushed into a bedroom and I froze when I saw Geillis.
"I'm sorry," I quickly lied. "I got lost,"
She said nothing and walked towards me.
"Ye'r welcome anytime," she smiled at me. "We are friends, come sit down."
I pressed mine lips together and followed her towards the couch and sat down in front of her.
"How is the search for your cousin?" She asked politely and I bit on mine tongue.
"We haven't found him yet," I answered and she laid her hand on her heart.
"Oh I canna imagined where yer going through," she sighed. "But why are ye here in Jamaica?"
"I told you that," I looked puzzeld at her.
"16 years ago ye dropped out of the sky,  out of nowhere into mine life," she started. "And now, again, ye appear on my doorstep." She looked at me. "Strange how fate keeps bringing us together,"
"Believe me I define faith myself to stay away from you as far as I can," I fired back.
"I never met another traveller only ye," she ignored me completely. "We share a bond.... Something even ye and Jamie canna share,"
"I suppose we do, sadly," I looked away from her.
"I befriended ye, and because of that, I let my guard down," she said and again I bit my tongue keep me from saying that we where not. "I sacrificed all fae ye, and still ye came into my home and lie to me,"
"Excuse me?" I looked at her in disbelieve. "Am not lying to you. Nor are we friends. I never and I repeat never asked you to take that blame in Cranesmuir."
"I now see it was ye who poisoned Colum's mind." She ignored me again. "Ye turned him against Dougal and against the Rising. Just didn't ken how far ye'd come to stop me."
"What are you talking about?" I asked and she finally listened.
"From fighting for a Scot to sit on the Throne," she answered.
"Why would I stop you from that?" I shook my head and stood up. "Bonnie Prince Charlie had his chance,"
"He's water under the bridge," she said. "But I'm not talking about the Bonnie prince, I'm talking about a new king,"
"You definitely lost your mind Geillis," I wanted to walk away but she stopped me.
"Ye ken about the Brahan seer, and the sapphires and that I was getting close," she painfully grabbed mine arms. "This isn't Cranesmuir Skye," she spatted and I froze when she said my real name. "And there is no one here to defend ye, save the truth,"
"Who told you mine name?" I fired back.
"That doesn't matter," she waved it away. "Tell me the truth."
"What is it then? What do you want to hear?" I asked.
"Why have ye been after me all those years?" She pretened to sob.
"I haven't been in this time for twelve years," I suddenly brought out.
"More lies," she shook her head.
"Right before Culloden, I went back to my own time, in 2022."  She looked at me.
"Ye'd never leave yer beloved Jamie." She snorted.
"Well I didn't want to," I answered. "But he made me leave, because we knew what would happen."
"I dinna believe ye," she finally letted me go and walked a few steps away from me. "Not even war could part the two of ye,"
"I was pregnant!" I blurted out and that sparked her attention and I really wished that I could takes those words back.
