Lars began to visit bringing free donuts and talking with Steven. It's only now that the hybrid realized just how lonely he has been. He told him about everything and instead of laughing he sympathized with him. Even the Crystal Gems began to recover. Soon Steven began to visit the Big Donut and talking to his old friends. The people of Beach City were relieved that their smol bean was once again out and about. Even the other gems at Little Home world were elated.
Today Lars was coming over to play videogames. Steven found himself cleaning his already clean room and trying to find something to wear. He blushed at his strange behavior. He was acting like a girl preparing for a date with her crush. He sat on the couch reading a book when the doorbell rang.
"COMING!" he yelled scampering off the couch. He stopped in front of the door and placed a stray hair back in place. Then he opened the door. Lars stood there, his hand just centimeters from ringing the doorbell again. "Hi." he squeaked. The pirate grinned. "Hi." "Come in." Steven said albeit too excitedly. The boy stepped inside and Steven closed the door. "Wow this place is neat." he commented. "Thanks. I didn't like how it looked last time so I uh fixed it." he gushed. "Did the gems help?" he ran a hand on the cushions. "Yep." he fiddled with his fingers. "Okay." he glanced at Steven. "Let's start." the hybrid smiled. "Okay." They walked up the stairs into his room. They settled themselves in front of the tv and hooked up the consoles.
"What are we playing?" Lars asked. "Uh Final Fantasy X. Me and Ames never finished." he pulled out the game case. Lars nodded and popped the game into the console. By seven o'clock they had still hadn't beat the game. "Damn this game is hard." Lars frowned as they lost again. "I see why you and Amethyst quit. Can we tackle this another time?" he asked as the cutscene started again. "Yeah." Steven sounded dejected. He took off the console. "What do you want to do?" he asked. "Let's eat." he smirked. They went downstairs to get some snacks. Luckily the Gems had left enough for the duo. "Hey Steven, where are the Gems?" Lars popped a chip in his mouth as they walked up the stairs. "They're out." he replied. Actually he made his dad, Pearl, Garnet and Amethyst promise to not be anywhere near him and Lars today when he came over. He knew Ames might try something...
"Really? Where?" he asked intrigued. "Little Home world." he answered. "And your dad?" he coaxed. "I don't know." he said shrugging. "Do you want them to be here?" he asked. "Nah. I just was confused since they're usually around somewhere." he explained settling down in front of the tv. "Movie?" Steven smiled. "I only have the Lonely Blade series. The Gems won't let me buy anything above a PG rating." he sighed. "I brought a movie." the son of Rose Quartz interest was perked. "What is it?" he asked. "Fifty Shades of Grey." "What's that?" the teenager's smirk widened. "A romance film. Don't worry it's PG." he lied. "Okay...do you have it?" he nodded. Lars placed the CD in the player and pressed 'start'.
Throughout the film, Lars watched as Steven gasped, squirmed, gave him confused looks and blushed furiously. Then the scene when Christen and Ana do it for the first time appears on the screen. Steven clutches at the carpet and brought his legs together like a shy girl. He looked down and bit his lip. It was evident he was trying to hold back a moan. "Steven what's wrong?" the boy asked. "L-Lars turn it off~" he swallowed hard as he went weak. His body was shaking and his eyes was squeezed shut. The moaning from the actors weren't helping either. "Lars please." he whimpered. He paused the movie. "Steven?" the brunette looked into his eyes for the first time today. Lust and desire glimmered in his irises. He was turned on. "T-thank you." he whispered and looked away. "Do you want to continue...?" he asked warily. "YES!" he said too quickly. "I-I mean...give me a second." he blushed while panting. Little hearts replaced his pupils and he was trying not to smile. "Steven?" "I-it won't go away." he craned his head back, his eyes were closed. He seemed to be enjoying whatever image was swirling around in his brain. Nevertheless Lars commenced the movie and the scene continued.
He seemed get over whatever problem he had minutes earlier and stayed fairly quiet through the rest of the film except when Christen spanked Ana and when the woman left him. While she was crying out in agony, he whimpered in pleasure. When she left Christen he was happy that she left the unhealthy relationship though disappointed he couldn't continue whatever fantasy he had going on. Then the credits rolled. "Wow. That was...interesting." the younger boy coughed. Lars smirked. "You seemed to like it." Steven felt his cheeks reddened. "I...uh...it was..." he struggled to find the words. Indeed he'd never felt that way anytime he watched a movie. He'd watched some dramas and melodramas but a medium THAT erotic? Sure, if pigs could fly. "I've never watched anything like...that. It was...good." he knew he was blushing. Lars nodded then glanced at his watch. "I gotta go. Sadie's waiting for me." he then got up and turned to leave. "WAIT!" he looked at Steven. "Are there...more movies like that?" he fiddled with his fingers. "Oh yeah. I have dozens." he caught Steven's sly smile. "C-can you bring them?" he asked. "Sure. Tomorrow?" The teen nodded.
Steven waited until he heard the front door close before sighing and laying out on the ground. The next instant his eyes were closed. A confusing sequence of events began to play out. Of course it was a dream, but it was a nice dream. And he liked to dream...
