'' here " kyungsoo smiled, handing me the pink flower to look into my eyes again.

I smiled in return, looking down at its strong colour before bringing it up to rest behind his ear. Mumbling back
'' thanks "

He was blushing lightly at that looking down with a twitching smile.
'' arent you cute " I chuckled out

'' stop saying ! ... s-stuff "
I laughed more at his struggle of finding the right words to say so he ended up hitting me hard with enough force that it caused me to lean back lightly. Something I recalled he always did when I was being too teasingly with him I reached my hand over the aching part continuing to chuckle.

'' stupid " he muttered facing the mountains again while I sat back up to he besides him.
'' always at your service "I joked in return, keeping the atmosphere light.

Yet Kyungsoo looked down finally while I watched his side profile as he lost himself in thoughts.. by the looks of it serious thoughts. I frowned realizing it as he finally sighed softly, pressing his lips together while playing with the grass '' do you think we will survive this ?"

I blinked at him, lost for a moment as it caused him to turn his head to me. A frown forming on my eyebrows when the question came to unexpectedly to me '' what?"

'' the war has been going on for so long.. they could have returned at any time why would they return now just because we.. because you travelled across the world for them.. why would they listen to you what if they just end up killing you"

There it was again. I frowned harder at him as he explained his thoughts but I was left in confusion still not knowing who they were. Still not knowing how far I would even have to go what I would have to do and what the purpose of it was.

But I was quiet. I wanted to ask him what he was talking about but I couldnt open my mouth.
My thoughts running wild around the mentioning of they.
Part of me felt the familiarity as if I should know it already as if I did but didnt want to admit or recall it.
That's why i didnt ask.

Instead i was left almost like frozen when he continued
'' I have let everyone I cared about die or lose themself.. I can not lose you "

This time he frowned hugging himself and I lifted my hand to rest on my stomach in guilt. Ky eyes drifted off for a moment
'' you're not .. we'll be fine ok..
I promise "

He smiled half heartedly to look out into the landscape again.
''It must be a human thing to always promise stuff that cannot be promised "

'' kyungsoo " i swallowed worriedly wanting to reach for his hand but he just pulled it out of mine slowly, raising his knees to be hugging them.

'' if someone survives it has to be you.. you are still needed everywhere-"
'' kyungsoo what are you saying"
I shock my head irritated when I moved to sit up further, facing him better now and causing his eyes to land on mine.

'' people look up to you.. I need things to change. You and them you are the only ones who can and .. " his voice suddenly became shaky as his eyes teard up when he stared at me strictly '' and I need you to be alive. Do not get mad at me for making a choice"
