I turned over on the bed seeing as it was still dark.
It was hard trying to fall asleep when i still had all these thoughts swirling around my head.Visions like sungyuri yielding the Trident as millions of sirens start emerging on land without a problem.
Where eating their way into my head.If sohyun knew about this, surely they must've made some deal that would leave the elves ruling aside them or.. she didnt know about this herself.
With sungyuri having an army of elves on her side not to mention the countless humans that were forced to follow her from when she overtook not only my kingdom but others aswell.
How would we go against that.
And why would they be afraid as baekhyun said, when they had so much power compared to us.
Kyungsoo would have been a threat of he had managed to take on the trident before them as soon as his father would die but what do I have to do with this. I'm just a human.. being a prince meant nothing if I had lost all my people.I sat up with a sigh resting my elbows on my knees as I lifted them to lean on.
Yixing was back, he slept on the bed in the far corner, facing the wall like he couldnt even handle to face into my direction. my eyes drifted to the side over chanyeol, who was laying on his back with his sword on his chest, ready for a fight any time even here.
but the One bed was empty.
I looked down pressing my lips together before looking to the window hesitantly.
I knew he had moments where he needed his space, and I would give it to him just like he would give it to me and if it took longer..
My hand reached for my own sword as I slipped into my boots and starting to walk over to the curtains, sneaking past them to make my way to the door.
When i was outside, i spotted him sitting on the grass, leaned foreward to rest his head on his folded arms over his knees.
It made me hesitate when I wasnt sure if he wanted to see me even...
I knew I should still be mad about what happened but.. I cared too much to still be.So I stepped closer, expecting him to react, maybe pull a weapon again but he remained as he was and once I managed to get down besides him. I could see why.
He was sound asleep, red eyes showing that he'd cried as peaceful as his expression appeard.
I exhaled softly, taking my jacket off to lay it around him carefully as a rather cool breeze brushed over us and through the trees.
He inhaled at the motion, adjusting his head a little before continuing his sleep.
I couldn't help but watch him.
My fingers gently tracing a little cut over his eyebrow as I moved his hair back before whiping softly on some dried tears. I never liked to see him cry, it was quite painful to watch especially once I figured out that it causes him to beat himself up over it, he was fed this stupid lie of it making him weak and basically worthless. My hand retrieved when I looked onto the moon now instead.
Letting the noises of my surroundings drag me into dreaming off.
I thought Back to the days where we still lived in the castle. When being found out about was our only big concern. Our problems were so little compared to what we had to face now.
I almost flinched when kyungsoos hand landed on my arm, making me face him again to see that his eyes were now open, visibly tired as he had just woken up.
He pulled his hand back to adjust my jacket around him more
'' its .. cold, we should get inside "Even though I said it, we both remained seated, as he turned to look at the moon himself letting it become quiet again and oddly enough I felt myself loosen up the longer we sat.
It was comfortable and in some sense relieving.
