HEILIE was facing back forth, she was inside their room. She's felt nervous not because she's pregnant. She felt it because of the what ifs in her mind, just like what if Heiro wont accept the child? What if Heiro left her? There were so many what ifs inside her playful mind. Yes, the results of pregnancy test was positive, she's carrying Heiro's child. She was going to be a mother after months.
Inside the navy blue color room, she's in there wearing a champagne color of bodycon dress. She was done preparing for Heiro's birthday celebration. They were going to celebrate his thirty-first birthday. She's thinking how will she tell Heiro what she knew. She startled when she heard a knock from the door then it opened. Lina, their maid sneaked her head inside. When their eyes met she saw admiration in the maid's eye.
"Miss Heilie, sabi ni Ma'am malapit na daw po kyo umalis." Sabi ni Lina sa kana.
"A-h Okay Lina, I'll go down." Sagot niya saka naglakad papalapit sa pinto.
When she got outside the room, she heard Lina spoke, "Miss, para kang dyosa!"
She gave her a little smile because of the compliments, at least her nervousness lessen. She smiled to Lina and wave her hand saying you are exaggerating.
"Binobola mo na ako Lina." Sagot niya sa pabirong umirap sa kasambahay. Ngumiti si Lina sa kanya bago ito nagsalita.
"Ay naku ma'am! Hindi ho! Siguradong mapapanganga nanaman si Sir Heiro sa inyo pag nakita kayo! Tingnan nyo nga! Sorbang ganda nyo po!" Eksahiradong komento ni Lina sa kanya kaya napangiti siya ng malawak at lalong nabawasan ang kabang nararamdaman.
"Sure ka ha? Baka naman di bagay sakin itong suot ko!" Saad niya saka bahagyang tumungo para makita ang suot.
She paired her dress with heels that have a same color of her dress and sets of gold accessories. She just wore a necklace and earrings with same designs. Her light make up made her face more look so pleasant and sophisticated. She made her hair in a messy ponytail.
"Naku Ma'am! Baka nga hindi na makausap si Sir kapag nakita ka!" Dagdag na saad ng kasambahay.
"Okay, wish me luck para maging okay lang ang announcement na gagawin ko mamaya." Sagot niya sabay ngiti ng malad.
Kung kanina ay kabang kaba siya, ngayon ay nawawala na dahil sa pagbibigay papuri sa kanya ni Lina. She appreciated it, she really do. Nakita niya ang pagkunot ng nuo ni Lina pero hindi na niya hinayaan magsalita ang kasamabahay at nagsimula ng maglakad.
"Malalaman mo din mamaya." Pahabol niya saka tuluyang naglakad papunta sa hagdan.
The three people at the living room turned their heads towards her when they heard her heels making sounds every time it will made a contact to the floor. She stopped on the top of the stairs. There was a deafening silence. The nervousness she was feeling suddenly came back. Her heart started beating wild again. She tried hard to cover that feeling by giving those people downstairs a wry smile.
"Oh my god! You look so gorgeous! Come here!" Komento ng Tita Annia niya.
Nginitian muna niya ang ginang bago hinanap ng mata niya si Heiro. She wanted to burst out in laughter when she saw him. Her nervousness instantly faded when she saw Heiro's mouth hanged open. She shook her head and smiled, gone the uneasy feeling. She started descending herself. When she reached where the three were, she gave her Tita Annia a cheek-to-cheek kiss.
"You really look good hija!" Komento muli ng ina ni Heiro at kinapitan pa ang dalawa niyang kamay saka pinasadahan ng tingin ang kabuon niya.
"Thanks Tita!" Sagot naman niya. Ganoon din ang sinabi at ginawa ng kanyang Tito Vixen. When she gazed at Heiro, she can see the admiration in his eyes.
