HAVING her monthly check up made her genuinely happy because it reminds her that she's really going to be a mother. Heiro and her were both in the clinic to have her check up. It's her third appointment. They were in different clinic because Heiro's mother's doctor was in out of town.
They were just around Taguig. She was irritatedly waiting for her turn to come inside the clinic. Kaunti na lang ay mapuputol na ang pisi ng kanyang pasensya. Medyo natatagalan kasi sila sa loob ng clinic dahil wala pa raw ang gynecologist na titingin sa kaniya. Isama pa ang mga secretary ng doktor na kung makatingin kay Heiro at para ba itong masarap na pagkain. Kulang na lang ay tumulo ang laway. She rolled her eyes and clung her arms to Heiro's.
"Nasaan na ba ang doctor na iyon. Naiinis na ako." Angil niya kay Heiro. Magkatabi silang nakaupo sa waiting area.
Heiro looked at his wrist watch before he responded to her. When she looked at him he looked like he's so tense. Palinga linga ito na para bang may hinahanap. Kanina pa rin niya ito tinatanong kung bakit bigla na lang silang mayroong kabuntot na mga bodyguard. She tried to ask him a lot of times but he just answered her with "It's for protection."
Nang tanungin naman niya kung bakit kailangan ng proteksyon ay hinfi na siya nito sinagot at sinabing hayaan na lang. Ngunit sa kabila ng pagkabalisa nito, she got mesmerized with him. Her man was wearing a dark blue botton down polo, paired with a light blue jeans, and a white casual shoes. He looked like a fashion model stepped out from a magazine.
"Baka malapit na rin iyon." Sagot sa kaniya ni Heiro. At muling ibinalik ang paningin sa paligid.
Dahil sa sagot nito ay naputol ang pagpupuri niya dito. Her mind was clouded again with irritation.
"Kapag hindi pa dumating iyong doctor na iyon with in ten minutes, I swear sasampalin ko siya." Aniya sa labis na iritasyon na nararamdaman niya. For god's sake, they were waiting in the clinic for more than an hour already. Gusto pa niyang mamasyal dahil kung mananatili nanaman sila sa condo kung saan sila naninirahan ay maboboring nanaman sila.
Luckily after few minutes nakita niya ang doctor. As usual, the doctor was approaching them with her white lab coat, and a stethoscope hanging on her neck.
"Sorry for making you wait. Naipit ako sa traffic. Let's come in and started." Anito sa kanila.
Sa halip na tumayo, tinaasan niya ito ng kilay. The girl has a height of maybe 5 feet and 9 inches if she was not mistaken. Her curly jet black hair was tied in a pigtail. She wearing a black slacks and peach a ruffled long sleeve top.
"We waited for an hour doc. Sa susunod agahan mo naman." Pagtataray niya.
She got irritated more because while she's walking towards them nakita niyang sumulyap ito kay Heiro. Kung hindi lang niya napigil ang sarili ay baka nasampal na kaagad niya ito.
"Ahh, hormones." Nakangiting komento ni Sheryl, the gynecologist.
"Sorry Sheryl, alam mo na..." biglang sabat ni Heiro.
Her eyebrow arched because of the way Heiro called the gynecologist.
"First name basis? Care to tell me?" Sarkastikong tanong niya.
"Tara na muna sa loob para masimulan na natin. Tingnan natin ang baby mo. And don't worry were just friends. We're classmate in high School." Ani Sheryl saka lumakad papasok sa clinic.
