"Practice over! Covan take these to my office!" The coach on the field shout at the boys. Jessie quickly ends practice as well and we all lazily walk back to the locker rooms. It was Wednesday, the past three days have been horrible. Covan is the source of all my sadness because it hasn't been the same. Sure, he would trouble me at lunch, or walk into me in the hallway but I miss our alone time. It felt wrong so for that reason I ignored my feelings and focused on other things like cheer.
"I'm tired. I need Starbucks," Ellie groaned and I silently agreed, my mind still fresh of Covan running across the field. I'm so whipped. "Are you-" her words are cut off by the door suddenly opening. A sequel left my lips as I'm pulled into the nearest room and the door shut behind me. "What the hell!" I scolded Covan. He wasn't phased, instead, his smile widens before pressing his lips to mine. Every thought of objection quickly faded into nothing and they were replaced by thoughts of how much I've been dying to taste his lips again.
I tilt my face to kiss him better, my hand fisted in his shirt as our lips moved together. It's shocking how one can get so lost by just kissing someone, it's hard to believe that this drive of emotion is the roots of kissing Covan. "Fuck, Verena," Covan cursed. His fingers buried in my waist before he lifted me and placed me on the edge of the desk. Driven by desire, I don't know what came over me. something possessed me to want him as close as I possibly can. My ankles locked behind his back and my legs clenched at his sides and automatically pressed his body against mine. All while his tongue roamed my mouth, I had trouble breathing and his hand that ran under my shirt drove me wild.
"Covan," I moaned, his lips separated from mine and he continued his trail of kisses down south. "God," I moaned, harshly tugging at the black waves on his head. When the door opened, we didn't get enough time to separate since we were caught off-guard until Preston walked in. "Hey man, What's- shit, sorry!" Preston apologized, his hands covering his eyes. A squeal left my lips and I bury my face into Covan's neck. "What the fuck man?" Covan scolded angrily.
"I'm sorry! lock the door next time!" Preston snapped before storming off, leaving the door wide open. Covan turns to me and sighed before placing me back on the ground. "I'm not done with you, meet me in front of your street at four, I'm taking you somewhere," he stated, his chest rising and falling. "I missed you," the words lazily left my lips without thinking. Even though we both were sweaty, I wrapped my hands around his torso and press my face to his chest. Covan circled his hand around my waist, simply holding me.
"I missed you too, baby," he softly told me.
When I realized the time was ticking away, even though I didn't want to, I separated us. "I'll see you in a bit right?" he confirmed and I nod my head. "At four, what am I wearing?" I asked. a smirk formed on his face as he thought of his response. "I prefer you naked but you can wear whatever you want. It will just be us," he admitted smugly. "Whatever, bye Covan," I huffed before walking out of the coach's office. When I returned to the girl's locker room, most of them were already gone.
