The Park

Sagittarius and the three kids walked in the park.

Sagittarius: so have you guys experience weird stuff here.

Janet: yes we have, each time we try to play, it feels like someone is watching us, if we use the swings, somethings grabs the chains and stops us. Or if we play with the balls, it stops in midair and gets thrown away.

Sagittarius: hmm interesting.

Meanwhile over where Gemini is.

Gemini: So Erika, how did you get a hold of our office?

Erika: oh yeah, I seem to have lost my phone, but I found one laying on the bench, and it had no pass code.

Gemini: really?

Erika: yeah but don't worry I left it where I found it and I didn't pry into it.

Gemini: thats good.

Back to Sagittarius.

James: sweet I found my phone.

Sagittarius: good for you.

Danny picked up a basketball.

Danny: watch this
He bounced the basketball to Sagittarius but before he could catch it, it looks like someone grabbed it and tossed it away.

Sagittarius: what the...

Janet: yeah, and check this out.

Janet got the swings and started slowly swinging.

Back where Gemini was.

Erika: see look, the swings!

Gemini walked away from the basketball and stared at the swings.

Gemini reached out and grabbed the chain and it stopped and then sand flew in the air as if someone fell off, but she couldn't feel anything.

Gemini: oh my God, I should update Sagittarius.

Gemini texted Sagittarius.

Gemini: hey I'm in the park right now and there's stuff going on.

Sagittarius: me too, theres stuff happening here as well.

Gemini: where are you?

Sagittarius: at the basketball court.

Gemini: really? I'm at the basketball court as well.

Sagittarius: hold on.

Sagittarius ask the kids.
Hey is there another basketball court around here?

James: no, this is the only one.

Sagittarius: what, how weird.
Is there anything else thats happens here.

Janet: yeah that table over there seems to alway have a new word on it.

Sagittarius inspects the table and then texted Gemini.

Sagittarius: hey, do you see a table near you, it should have a bunch of words on it.

Gemini: oh yeah I see it, Erika is writing on it now.

Sagittarius: wait who's Erika?

Gemini: she's the girl that called us about this park.

Sagittarius: hmmm.

Gemini: what are you writing there.

Erika: my name, like I always do, when I get bored.

Sagittarius: hey do you guys know a girl name Erika?

All three of them stayed quiet.

James: Yeah, Erika was our friend, about a year ago she was caught in a drive by and died here in this park.

Sagittarius: I think I know whats going on, well not really but I do know why things have been happening.

Sagittarius: hey Gemini, ask Erika what time is it.

Gemini: its 9pm why.

Sagittarius: no, ask Erika, tell me her answer.

Gemini asked Erika what time it was and her answer confused her.

Erika: its 11am, why?

Gemini texted Sagittarius and Sagittarius told Gemini what really happened with Erika.

Gemini: so how do we fix this.

Sagittarius: from experience, it seems like Erika doesn't know she's dead.

Gemini: ok should it'll her then?

Sagittarius: no, we don't know how she will react.

Gemini: ok then what.

Sagittarius: let me think.

Sagittarius had a plan, and the three kids will be a major role.

He explained to them that the haunting were actually Erika and that she can't see them, and she doesn't know she's dead yet.

Janet: so how do we help her.

Sagittarius: I need you three to go to that table and talk as if Erika was there.

Danny: uhhh ok we'll try.

The three of them walk to the table. And started talking.

James: so uhh yeah how was school.

Janet: it was good, What about you...Erika.

*silence*

Danny: I don't think...

Sagittarius: just keep going.

James: so yeah me and Erika went to play on the swings the other day.

Suddenly a big gust of wind blew.

Erika: yeah and I almost fell off.

Everyone just stared at Erika who was sitting across from them, she looked just the same as she did, a year ago.

Erika: what are you guys staring at?

Janet: you Erika!

At that moment, all of Erika's memory came to her, the day she died.

Erika: oh, I see now.

Gemini appeared in front of Sagittarius.

Gemini ran up and hugged Sagittarius.

Sagittarius: oh uh hey Gemini.

Gemini stepped back a little bit

Gemini: Sorry about.

Sagittarius: I didnt say I didnt like it.

Gemini: oh..

Erika: so what now guys?

Sagittarius explained to the kids that shortly Erika is going to move on, and they probably say their goodbyes.

Each one of them took turns giving Erika hugs and saying goodbye and at the end of it her soul gently floated off the ground and dissapeared into the night sky.

James: thank you guys, for helping her, and us.

Janet: yeah, I never it was her this whole time.

Danny: yeah well maybe now I can finally finish a game of basketball.

Sagittarius and Gemini waved them good bye and walked off.

While waiting for a ride Gemini's hands gently brushed against Sagittarius, but he didn't flinch away and instead moved his hands closer, until Gemini took his hand and held it, they both held each hands until their ride arrived.
