Hello! I have returned to you sooner than I thought~ I've decided to not pay too much mind to whatever I forget, and I only have an episode until I catch up to where I am in the story, so I thought 'Hey, let's continue this because I have some scenes I really wanna write!'

So, here you go!

I woke up leaning against Killua. I blinked awake and felt blood rush to my face. We must have fallen asleep while talking! I quickly stood up and hurried away. "Mn...?" I heard Killua waking up as I ran away. "Where did- never mind..." He sighed, making me even more flustered. He knew?!?

I hid behind a wall to catch my breath. I slid down the wall and closed my eyes. What time is it, anyways? I looked to my wrist where my ever-present watch clung to my skin. 7:30 in the morning, huh? That means we have some more time before arriving- My thoughts were cut off by a voice.

"What were you running from?" I looked up and saw Killua. I gave a small squeak and jumped. He raised an eyebrow at me. "Thought you were a cat, not a mouse." He grinned.

"HEY!" My voice kinda did sound like a mouse- BUT THAT WASN'T THE POINT! "Um- actually I just.... I, uh..." I searched for an answer. "Felt kinda airsick..." It wasn't a complete lie. I did get motion sickness quite often, but at the moment it wasn't very bad.

"Hm." He nodded and sat next to me again. "You have any ideas on what this phase is gonna be?" I shook my head and stared ahead of us, not wanting him to see how red my face must be. "Me neither."

We were silent after that. Soon enough, we arrived at the third phase. I was spacing out while they talked, but I got some of the basic information. This place was called trick tower and we had 72 hours to get to the bottom.

Once the time started I lay down on the stupidly uncomfortable concrete and began to think of a way down. There was no way I was climbing down, I saw what happened with that other guy, and I hate heights anyways, so that wouldn't work.

There didn't seem to be any apparent entrances either. I rolled around in my anguish. Suddenly I felt the ground drop beneath me and I had to suppress a scream. I instinctively turned into a cat and felt myself land softly on my paws. I was in an empty room with a pedestal of watches nearby. I looked around and realized that I must have fallen through a trap door or something. I heard voices above me calling my name.

"Y/n?!?" Gon sounded worried. I transformed back to a human so I could answer.

"DOWN HERE!" I shouted back. I heard people running frantically to the sound of my voice.

"How did you-?" Killua's voice made it's way through the concrete ceiling.

"I fell in. There's a room down here." I answered quickly. I heard them find different trap doors and simultaneously they all fell in too. "Hello again." I smiled at them. Leorio had landed terribly so I hopped over to him to check if he was alright. After a quick glance I could tell that he was going to be fine.

"You scared us, Y/n!" Gon whined, hugging me tight. I giggled quietly before realizing someone was watching us.

A voice startled me, causing me to jump to the corner of the room. Kurapika looked over to me with a questioning look that immediately turned into one of pity. The voice explained that we were in a place called 'Trick Tower', and we had taken the 'Majority Rules' path to the bottom of the tower

We put the watches on and waited for one more person to arrive. After about fifteen minutes I got really bored and went through my bag to find something to do. I found my favorite book hidden snugly in one of the pockets and gasped happily. I forgot I brought this! I took it out and leaned against the wall.

Just before I was about to open the book and fall into the lovely world of the story, I noticed that everyone was staring at me. "Why do you look so happy about a book?" Leorio asked bluntly. I frowned and ignored his question.

Killua took it upon himself to sit next to me and asked, "Whatcha reading?" I smiled closed the book.

"It's called Mandy! It's my favorite book and I've read it like, eleven times! I get bored reading books again, so that's really impressive. I actually got my first copy of the book from my mom, and it was already falling apart then, but after reading it four or five times, it started shedding pages like crazy, so for my birthday that year, my mom got me a new copy!" I grinned. I relayed most of the story to him, occasionally going back over details I had forgotten in the moment. (True story, and awesome book, highly recommended if you like reading.)

His face looked a little shocked. I hadn't said that much about any topic before, so he was a little surprised. "Y-you really like it, huh?" He sighed, resting his head against the wall.

"Mhm! Honestly, I just love reading in general..." Then I added quietly, "So much better than having to deal with reality..." His eyes locked onto mine in shock. Shoot, he must have heard me... He gave me a strange look that I didn't bother to decipher. "Well, I'm gonna be absorbed in this for the next hour and a half, see you later!" I giggled.

"O-okay...?" After hearing his response, I opened the book and giddily began to read. A good ten minutes later, if someone had spoken to me, I wouldn't have heard a word they said. I continued to speed through the story, almost done with the book when I heard someone walking above us, pulling me out of my trance.

Seconds later, Tonpa dropped in from the ceiling.

End of Chapter.
