Warning: Remus being Remus

While three gays were in the common room gushing over the cute Latine poet they encountered, one struggled to getting around in the Mind Palace. Patton, who initially started to bake brownies with marshmallow ghosts, found himself understanding the fate of Violet Beauregarde without turning blue. He tried to walk, but he found himself rolling around and giggling. The next thing he knew, he tried steering himself around Logan reading on the couch. Fortunately, he was able to stop himself before the worst case scenario.

"Either this is Remus's doing, you indulged in too much Halloween candy, or this is from the same source as the serotonin in my system," Logan claimed without looking up from his book.

Patton smiled and rolled around.

"You would think I'd know how to steer myself by now!" Patton shouted after some time.

He rolled around the house bouncing off the walls as if someone created Sanders Sides Pinball and giggled nonstop until he felt some hands grab his arm. He looked over at the source and noticed a giddy Roman and his...best friend with purple eyeshadow in lieu of the usual black.

"Woah, easy there, Pop star!" Virgil chuckled.

"Virgil! Roman! Did Thomas meet someone?" he asked to evade drawing attention to the eyeshadow.

"Oh, boy, did he! And Brendon Furie was a big help in leading things to such a beautiful romance," Roman declared, thus causing blush to be added to Virgil's face.

"Oh boy! What's he like? What's he like? Tell me! Tell me!" Patton asked while shaking his arms.

Logan followed gave up on continuing his book and followed the source of the commotion.

"Whoever he is, I guess Thomas is really enthusiastic about his presence according to this serotonin," Logan mentioned.

Roman proceeded to explain what happened at the mall. Logan wanted to complain about not being involved, but then pouted to himself as he remembered the phrase "When you listen to your heart, you're mindless". Even so, he couldn't help but be proud of the defeatist and the prep for bringing Thomas closer to happiness together.

As the two explained what they learned about Nico, Logan and Patton couldn't contain their excitement as they heard about Nico's empathy and skill with poetry.

"Oh, beautious bard in the court of food, in my heart, you're whom I include," Logan muttered with a smile.

It wasn't until he saw everyone give him shocked expressions that he realized he didn't keep that in his head.

"Logan...that was...brilliant! Much better than what I tried to come up with!" Roman praised.

Logan was speechless and immediately wrote down the little poem for Thomas to use later.

Patton wiggled around with joy once again and looked around at the group.

"Wait a minute, Roman's sense of accomplishment, Virgil's eyeshadow, and Logan's sir-o-tension-"

"That's serotonin!"

"Right! And I'm a plumpernickel Patton! If this is how we are reacting to Thomas meeting this Nico, does anyone know how Janus, Remus, and Hello are reacting to him?"

The group looked at each other with worried expressions.

"Considering Remus is involved, I don't know and I don't wanna know. So, before we see anything we don't want to see, let's get out of here!" Roman answered.

As Logan and Virgil headed out the door, Roman proceeded to push Patton with the idea it was easier to steer Patton than for the heart to try steering himself again.  By the time they got out the door, Roman heard a familiar voice shout "IS THERE A NEW GUY THAT'S BANGABLE?" before closing the door.
