i do not enjoy existence

okay so fast forward all of the important lore bits and character arcs and shit we get to an isolated corner of the scp tale archive where no man dare enter

except me, hey what's up

so before we tackle this I need to address some concerns

first off, i am not. scp-001. (totally not.)

second, i'll try to find a good image for this chapter 'cause i've been stalk-uh, looking into some really cool scp art.

with that out of the way, let me just

*the screams of the damned are turned up louder*

perfect.

so, got your jammies and your popped corn? good.

in depth analysis go!

i don't want to plagiarize, so, basically, story starts out with uh

one of the main doctor people

there are five of them, it's hard to tell who's who sometimes

oh wait, a little birdie told me it was dr.gears.

nobody likes dr.gears, okay. nobody in the fanbase. he's no fun.

'cause. cause it's his namesake. and. yeah. no shit, sherlock.

so anyway

whole thing starts out with dr.gears getting interrupted by a person who is a

uh, a............secretary? No, not that, an assistant? I can't believe this, I can't even remember. let's just stick with assistant, because that one sounds more likely, I think.

security guard.

alverez or whatever it was

they were a security guard.

i had to look it up

im fucking stupid

moving on, alverez (or whatever their name was) walks in on dr.gears for one reason or another 'cause they're a security guard and that's their job and crap.

dr.gears has apparently been looking for Dr. Clef do discuss something important. He hasn't been answering his phone at all.

I'll give you guys twenty second to guess why.

alverez is saying something along the lines of "bro, don't disturb that dude. he's doing the thing."-and there is a moment of understanding, and, if my analysis is correct, some tone or form of resignation.

In simpler terms:

dr.gears: ah fuck, I can't believe you've done this....again.

which indicates two things:

-dr.gears knows Dr. Clef well enough to know this happens

-dr.gears knows Dr. Clef well enough to know it happens more than once

-and honestly, that's the friendship I strive for.

Actually, I am already there with most of my friends, I can just pop into discord, say something completely and totally unorthodox (e.x loudly stating that since the impostor is a canonical shapeshifter it would make sense that whomever is impostor changes each game, in the sense that the imposter takes on a new form(color) in order to confuse the crew even more) and everyone just rolls with it.
