Klaus, Rebekah, Kol, and Elijah left to New Orleans because of a witch conspiring against him. The Mystic Falls gang were happy they are gone. A year after they left, Caroline's mother died. She turns off her humanity after the funeral. Her Friends kept trying to make her turn it back on. So she moves to New Orleans to get away from them. No Hayley or a baby in this.
