Braylon's Pov

"Nobody has asked you yet?" Iris asked.

"No Iris," I said. "You've asked me 100 times."

"Do you think someone's going to ask me?" She asked.

"Someone will." I said.

"Well, homecoming is this Friday, the homecoming game against Riverside is this Friday, and were going shopping Thursday," she said. "We are going to make those boys jaws drop to the floor."

"No." I whined.

"Yes." she mocked.

"Iris, Grayson's girlfriend, Lillian." I said.

"She's super nice." she said.

"Yeah but there's something off about her." I said.

"You're just paranoid about Grayson," she said. "Lillian is fine."

"Whatever you say," I said. "Just as long as she doesn't hurt him were cool."

"Let's go." she said and I groaned.

I woke up and took a shower and done my business, I put on my undergarments. I got dressed and grabbed my phone and bookbag. I walked downstairs and saw Cody.

"What's up?" I asked.

"Nothing." he said.

"Have you asked anybody to the dance?" I asked.

"As a matter of fact I did," he said. "I asked Gracie and she said yes."

"Good for you." I said.

"Anybody ask you?" He asked.

"Nope." I said.

"Oh," he said. "I've heard Talon is thinking about asking you."

"What?" I asked.

"Yeah," he said. "He was talking to Justice."

"Well then," I said "We gotta go."

"I didn't say a word." he said and I nodded.

We walked out and got in his car, we rode to school and got out. I walked up to the group and they smiled at me.

"Hey Bray." Justice said.

"Hey guys," I said. "Why are you guys so down?"

"Mom won't let us have our party this year like we always do." Carter said.

"It's always the best." Jayden said and the bell rang, we spilt and walked to class.

The day went by quick and I was walking down the hall towards the cafeteria. Ariel and Iris walked up to me, well ran and almost knocking me down.

"Guess what just happened." Iris said quickly and out of breath.

"What?" I asked.

"Jayden and Carter asked us to the homecoming dance." Ariel said.

"That's great," I said and smiled. "Has Tyler or Braydon asked anyone."

"I don't think so." Iris said.

"Thanks surprising," I said. "Let's get to lunch."

We walked into the cafeteria and we sat down at the boys table. Justice's exact words were 'If you don't start sitting here, I'm going to steal all your food'.

"So I heard Jayden and Carter asked you two to the dance." Marcus said.

"Yep." they said.

"What about you Braylon?" Justice asked.

"I'm not going." I said.

"Oh, that's to bad." he said.

"Why?" I asked.

"It would be fun with you there." he said.

"Eh," I said. "Plus, nobody has asked me."

"Somebody will," Aaron said. "I would but, yeah."

"Ok then." I said.

"Hey people's," Braydon said, he came and sat beside me. "Hey Bray."

"Hey pretty boy." I said.

"You ask anybody to the homecoming dance?" Justice asked.

"Not yet." he said.

"What's taking you so long, the dance is this Friday." Trey said.

"I'm not asking my barbie, I'm a senior and I want to actually find a good girl." he said.

"I can think of one." Tyler said.

"Shutup." Braydon hissed in a whisper and I stifled a laugh, but then got serious.

"Hey," I said and he looked down at me. "My dad still hasn't talk to me."

"Why can't we get that lucky with Grayson?" He asked.

"Braydon." I said with a little anger.

"I'm sorry." He said.

"I'm gonna get going," I said and got up, I walked out and to my locker. I ran into someone. "Oops, I'm sorry," I looked to see Talon. "Hey Talon."

"Hey Braylon, I've actually been looking for you." he said.

"You were?" I asked.

"Yeah, are you going to the homecoming dance?" He asked.

"No." I said.

"Oh," he said. "That's fine."

"I'm sorry." I said and he walked away. I grabbed my phone.

"Call me or I'm killing someone!"

What the? I clicked his contact.

"I swear he is a pathetic bitch." he spat.

"Who?" I asked.

"Dad, he's not coming to our game Friday." he said.

"What?" I asked. "Let me guess, he's going out with Elaine."

"Bingo." he said.

"We're undefeated." I said.

"We're until you guys," He said. "We're winning this game Blake."

"It's not happening Grayson." I said.

"Are you playing quarterback?" He asked.

"I don't know," I said. "But I'm going to love tackling you."

"Same here," he said. " Anyone ask you?"

"Yeah but I said I didn't know," I said. "Dances aren't really my thing."

"Hey babe." Matt said and I looked at him.

"First of all, don't call me babe and second, what do you want?" I asked.

"The homecoming dance." he said.

"Keep moving Matt " I said and he walked away. "You see what happens when I'm left alone for two seconds," He laughed. "So, how's it going with you and Lily?"

"It's perfect. She's perfect." He said.

"I'm happy for you." I said.

"Blake, if you want I can cancel my homecoming and we can hang out playing video games and binge eat." he said and I smiled.

"Thank you but no thanks," I said. "Enjoy your homecoming."

"Well, sorry sis but I gotta go," he said. "I'm walking Lillian to class."

"Bye, love you." I said.

"Love you too." he hung up and I let out a big sigh.

"Everything ok?" Carter asked.

"Dads not coming to the homecoming game," I said. "Grayson's more pissed than upset."

"I'm sorry," he said. "I know how much this means to you," He hugged me. "You don't need him, you got everybody else."

"I guess I do." I said and smiled at him.
