Tivali

Video Call

The computer rings and Tali runs over excited. I laugh and follow her. I get there just as she answers.

McGee and Bishops faces appear.

"Tali!" Bishop says sounds just as excited as Tali is. "How are you?"

"I'm good!" Tali says with a big smile.

All day Saturday and today she has been in a great mood. I think she loves that Abby is here.

"Have you been having a ton of fun with Auntie Abby?" McGee asks and she nods with a smile.

"Well I'm super jealous." Bishop says with a smile. "I wish I was there with you guys."

I sit down next to Tali just as Tony and Abby come over.

"You guys are always welcome here." I say and Tony agrees.

"I hear a congratulations are in order." Ellie says and immediately Tali confidently nods her head.

I start to wonder if she even knows why.

"Ima and Abba are finally together after fifteen years." Tali continues and both Ellie and Tim look surprised.

I am sure Tony and I look the same way. I look over to Tony silently asking if he told her. He shakes his head with a confused look.

All of the sudden out of the corner of my eye I see Abby trying to sneak away.

I very slowly turn my head towards her with what some might call a murderous look.

"So uh.." Abby says changing the subject cause she knows she's in trouble "How's everyone at NCIS?"

"Bishop. McGee. Sitrep." We hear Gibbs say.

The two of them exchange a worried glance.

"Tony and Ziva are here." McGee says obviously trying to deflect his attention.

"Hey!" Both Tali and Abby say annoyed he left them out.

"Tali don't tell Grandpa Gibbs." Tony tells her.

"Don't tell Grandpa Gibbs what?" Gibbs says appearing in front of the camera.

"Sorry boss." He says and then slaps himself on the back of the head.

"Ima and Abba are together." Tali tells Gibbs.

"My own daughter!" Tony says faking hurt. "Betrayed by my own blood!"

Tali giggles and Tony continues with his act. He falls to the floor with his hands over his heart.

Tali giggles again and Nick appears.

"Hola amigos!" He says and Gibbs phones rings.

He answers it and walks away. Less than a minute later the famous line is said.

"Grab your gear. We got a dead marine."

"Well I guess that's our cue." Bishop says and the other two nod. "It was great to see you guys! And again congratulations!"

I smile and Tony and Tali come back.

"Thank you. And you too."

"See ya." Nick says and he's about to walk away.

"Hey Nick?" I say and he stops and nods his head. "Your turn."

Everyone but him looks at me confused. He just ignores me and walks away.

"Uh well bye." Tim says and Ellie nods.

It's clear both of them are trying to figure it out.

"Bye everyone! I miss you!" Tali says and and Tim and Ellie smile.

"We miss you too!" Ellie tells her

"The twins keep asking when they are going to see you." McGee tells her.

"Hey!" Gibbs says loudly and the two of them look away from the camera  "I said dead marine."

Tony, Abby, and I share a knowing look.

"Good luck probies." Tony says and all of the sudden the screen goes black.

"He must have pulled the plug." Abby guesses.

Short but cute chapter. Hope y'all like it!
So I've been thinking and I think I'm going to write one or two more chapters and then skip ahead a few months. Bc I know what I want to do in the future and I don't want to give y'all a bunch a bad chapters bc I don't know what to do in the mean time.
