*A few months later* (beginning of spring break)

Once again today Tali has come home miserable and we just can't figure out why. We have tied absolutely everything. We gave her space and waited for her to come to us. When that didn't work we went to her teacher and the principal of the school. Neither of them had any idea what was going on either. We talked to other parents to see if their kids had similar problems, but no luck there either. So then we started to think that maybe it had nothing to do with school. So we tried taking her to a therapist of sorts but that worked even less. She stormed out of the room with in five minutes and called the therapist "a stupid lady who cant mind her own business". At which point Tony so kindly reminded me that she is my daughter. Which caused me to threaten his life several times.

So finally Tony and I decided that we are going to take her back to D.C. for spring break/easter. It'll be good for her to get away for awhile. Plus she absolutely loves being around everyone. And maybe if we're lucky she will open up to one of them.

We haven't told anyone except Senior and Gibbs that we are coming and we made them swear not to tell either. Senior is ecstatic. He hasn't visited since before I came back. He kept saying he wanted to come but we wouldn't let him. With everything that was going on with Tali we didn't want to add any other stress or pain.

It's been an hour since Tali came home and stormed off to her room.

"Tony," I say as I look up from the computer where I just finished the reservations for the car rental.

Across the table Tony looks up from his computer where he is doing god know what.

"Yes?"

"I think it's time to tell her. She's had a rough day and I'm sure this will cheer her up. Besides we are leaving in two days. I don't know how much longer we can keep it from her."

Tony nods and the two of us get up and go to her room. Per usual her door is closed and locked. Locking her door isn't something we encourage but at the same time we don't really discourage it either.

I knock and less than a second later she responds.

"Homework." She says using the same excuse she always uses.

"Tali please open up," Tony asks her nicely "We have some exciting news."

A second later she opens the door. She still doesn't look very happy but at least she opened the door.

"Tali you know it's spring break right?" Tony asks, bending down next to her.

Tali nods her head but doesnt say anything.

"Well Abba and I have a surprise for you."

"Will one of you just say it already?" She says suddenly very excited and impatient.

Tony and I exchange a smile.

"We are going to visit Grandpa Gibbs and Grandpa Senior and everyone else for spring break."

She instantly gets the biggest smile.

"Really?" She asks and then gives me the biggest hug.

"Hey?" Tony says, pretending to be offended. "What about me?"

Tali then gives him a big hug.

"When do we leave?" She asks and clearly this is going to be the only thing she is going to talk about for the next two days.
