Cassiopeia and Regulus Black in the eyes of everyone who didn't know the real them were perfect pureblood children, making them more than desirable for suiters. It was only a bonus that they were so attractive. They were two of the smartest and most respected individuals in Slytherin house, coming from the Noble House Of Black and all. The only downside was that their brother- Sirius, was know as a 'blood-traitor' and their friends never stopped to remind him that, Cassiopeia made an effort to tell them to back off, her protectiveness over her family, especially her brothers, was a prominent feature in her personality and she would stop at nothing to make sure that they're safe.

Which is why, on September 19th 1977, Cassiopeia found herself sat in Dumbledores office for shrinking a Ravenclaws head to the size of an apple seed, for making fun of Sirius' hair.

"Miss Black, it seems as though you have shrunk the David Saunders' head to the size of a pip! Would you care to explain yourself?"

"He deserved it." she said stubbornly

"And why is that?"

"He was making fun of my brother, only I'm allowed to make fun of my brothers!"

"I see, and which brother did he poke fun at?" said the professor peering over his half moon glasses.

"Sirius sir."

"I see.." said the man thinking decisively for a moment "Well I don't see any need for a punishment! Off you go, I believe Mr Black is waiting for you outside the gargoyle."

Cassiopeia gave the man a strange and confused look. Why didn't he punish her?  how did he know her brother is outside the statue? and surely enough, as Cassiopeia left the office she found Sirius waiting outside the gargoyle.

"Are you okay? What did he say? Are you getting punished?" he rambled out to his twin.

"Yes Sirius I'm fine" she chuckled "No he let me go without any kind of punishment" shrugged the dark haired girl.

"He did?"

"He did." she confirmed

"How strange.." he said in a faux posh accent

"How peculiar indeed" said the girl mocking the accent as well.

"Well I believe this calls for a celebration!"

"I believe you are correct young sir!"

"To the kitchens we go!" he said bending down allowing Cassiopeia to hop on his back as they ran through the corridors and to the painting of a fruit bowl. The boy tickled the pair making it giggle and morph into a door knob, Cassie hopped off of his back and they entered the kitchens only to find the rest of Sirius' friends here.

"What are you doing here?" Sirius asked in confusion seeing James trying to hold a various amount of snacks.

"Getting snacks" Remus said as though it were obvious. "Oh Cassiopeia! What did Dumbledore say?" the mention of the Black girls name made James spin his head around a flirtatious grin etched onto his face as he dropped everything he was holding to mess up his hair in attempt to look more desirable.
