"Miss Black! Miss Black!" called Slughorn chasing the girl down the hall.

Upon hearing her name called the girl stopped abruptly turning to see the professor frantically trying to catch up to her. "Professor." greeted the girl with her charming smile.

"I would like to invite you to join me tomorrow evening at my Slug Club!" he said handing the girl a slip of paper with all the information on it.

"It would be a pleasure professor."

"Splendid!" said the man "Well I best be off, good day to you!"

Cassiopeia nodded goodbye to the professor continuing her journey to the library with the intentions of returning a book that she had previously borrowed. She had the book clutched tightly into her chest when suddenly four boys came speeding round the corner one of them knocking the girl over, making her drop the book as she groaned feeling the heavy weight on top off her. She opened her eyes seeing James Potter grinning down at her sheepishly "Hello." he said making the girl roll her eyes amused as she pushed the boy off of her.

She stood up brushing off her skirt as she did so James copied her actions in brushing off her uniform looking for his friends who apparently did not stop running and were now nowhere in sight. "You should really be more careful you know." smirked the girl amused at the whole ordeal.

"Yeah..sorry about that." said the bespectacled boy rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly

"What were you running from anyway?"

"Filch." he said "Set dungbombs off in his office." as the boy said that the man in question rounded the corner making the boy mutter a 'shit' under his breath. Cassie looked at him amused, the angry man stepped forward pointing an accusatory finger at the Potter boy.

"You!" said the man angrily "I saw you! messing about my office with them stinky bombs!"

"What ever are you talking about Mr filch?" said Cassiopeia cluelessly "James has been with me the whole time accompanying me to the library."

"I was not aware that you and Potter were friends."

"Well I decided I should begin socialising with more people. And I found James is an excellent candidate for a friendship, dare I mention the fact he's obviously attractive. Is that what you hold against him Mr filch? That he's attractive?"

"What are you saying Miss Black?" said the man with narrowed eyes

"Oh nothing, nothing." dismissed the girl "If you don't mind James and I would very much appreciate if you could allow us to continue our journey to the library?"

The caretaker reluctantly walked away grumbling under his breath about 'annoying bloody kids' with his cat following suit.

"So you think I'm attractive" smirked the Potter boy with a raised eyebrow

"Of course I do otherwise I wouldn't have had sex with you now would I Potter?"

"Oh back to Potter now are we?"

"Sorry James." said the girl with an amused roll of her eyes. "Will you come with me to the library? I rather enjoy your company. We won't be in there long I promise you, I just need to return a book, then we can go for a walk or something"

"What if someone sees us?"

"Are you embarrassed to be seen with me?" she said with a raised brow teasing the boy knowing what he really meant once the boy was a spluttering mess trying to correct himself the girl let out a laugh that mimicked a bark much like Sirius'. "I'm playing with you James. To answer your question, it doesn't matter if anyone see's us no one will snitch on me."

"Alright." the boy nodded following the girl into the library waiting as she returned her book.

"Shall we?" the girl asked the boy gesturing to the large sunlit fields. He agreed and the pair strolled around the castle grounds talking to each other about various topics. "What do you love so much about quidditch anyway? I've never really understood the sport?" she asked curiously

"What? Are you joking?" asked the boy in shock "Have you ever even ridden a broom before?"

"No..it's not..desirable for a woman to play sport in families like mine..thats why theres no girls on the quidditch team.."

"Merlins beard! I have to teach you!" he said excitedly "Oh you'll love it. Being in the sky it just gives me this feeling Yano? Like a feeling of escape. In fact theres a game this Sunday! Gryffindor versus Hufflepuff. You have to come watch me!"

"I'll be there" she agreed with a chuckle. The girl found it admirable how passionate the boy was about the sport and watched with a smile as he began to explain to her how exactly the game works. She didn't really understand a word that was coming out of the boys mouth but she listened with genuine interest though she could not work out why. What was suddenly so interesting about quidditch that wasn't before? Why is she only now interested in the sport? she just couldn't work it out.

"And then when the seeker catches the snitch they get one hundred and fifty points and the game is finished and the team with the most points win!" he finished explaining to the girl

"I think I'll understand it more when I see it for myself" she chuckled

"Probably" he shrugged "It's confusing at first but after a while you begin to understand, so will you come to the game on Sunday."

"I already told you I'd be there." she smiled lightly before giving the boy a mischievous look. "Want to see some photos of Sirius?" she said pulling out images of her brother when he was in fifth year dressed in one of the girls many ball gowns.

"Cassiopeia Walburga Black!" came the voice of Sirius Black as he stormed through the corridors  of the castle with a red face from embarrassment.

"Ah Sirius what can I do for you?" she said with a smirk knowing exactly what had the boy riled up.

"You-You gave James those photos."

"What photos?" asked the girl feigning confusion

"You know what photos!" he whispered harshly "You promised not to show anyone!" he whined

"No darling brother I promised not to show any of my Slytherin friends, I didn't say anything about Gryffindor." she winked smirking as she walked away from the boy

"Don't you walk away from me!" he whispered sternly "Cass!, Cassie!, Cassiopeia!, Come back here now!" he said chasing her down the corridor as she laughed hysterically, running away trying to escape her brother.
