Miyagi Prefecture, Karasuno High,
Saturday 7:30 am

It has been days since your encounter with the boy's volleyball team.

They were really... Hectic

You couldn't describe them, they were filled with different types of people that just fit in together.

Even though you quit playing, having that habit of taking a jog in the morning is still sticking with you like a fresh band aid.

You found yourself going towards the school and you heard some squeaking noises and you followed the sound mindlessly.

"One touch! " You hear a faint sound. You peaked through the gym doors and saw that Kageyama and that orange head was playing against a tall blonde and a green haired freckle boy, with the captain and the bald guy helping them out.

You watched them play for a moment before contemplating to whether enter or not. You decided on the first one

As you enter the gym a sudden swoosh of air shocked you. The moment you got back to your senses, Kageyama and Hinata were grinning from ear to ear.

Woah! You thought. It was the fastest quick you have even seen. You rewind the scene in your head and then out of shock you yelled in disbelief

"H-His eyes were closed?! " Everyone in the gym had looked at you like you had grown three heads.

"W-when he runned up to the set he jumped real high w-with his eyes closed without even thinking! " You started to explain while walking up to them inside "What were you thinking?! " you ended panting

Kageyama glanced at Hinata, and Hinata was smiling looking at the palm of his hand

"BOKE HINATA BOKE! " Kageyama suddenly shouted. You were taken aback at the sudden insult.

Sugawara then looked at you with another confused look and you answered truthfully as you can

"I-I was having a morning jog, and I heard some squeaking noises, so I assumed a volleyball match was going on" You explained still breathing heavily.

Sugawara handed you a squeeze water bottle and you drank a lot in one go.

The game continued with Hinata and Kageyama doing their quick here and there. Your eyes went to a bald guy that was panting heavily.

Should I ask them if I could play a little?

You were biting on your nails as you thought, staring at the match

"H-Hey! " You flinched as someone suddenly grabbed your shoulder

"S-senpai? " You asked as you stare at him breathing heavily in front of you

"Haha! She called me senpai! Wait till Noya hears about this! " He shouted, but slightly mumbled the last part

"Anyways!" He started again and You flinched at the sudden yelling "Sub for me! I can't take it anymore! These two are on fire and if I continue I'm gonna pass out-" He said as he dramatically fell on the ground and whined

"M-me?!" You looked down in disbelief. I haven't played in months...is this okay?! I'm not even in the club!

"Yeah! You should play, you don't look or sound like just a normal person! You sound really smart! " The orange head chirped

You smiled a little, but the trauma is slowly creeping back

Play. You know you want to .

You're pathetic! You can't even meet [Random Person's Name] expectations

It was fun, now go!

You're a dissapointment!

You were having an argument inside your head when someone pushed you to towards the court

"Now, now! Don't worry it's just a match to see their strengths! Don't think too much " You hear Sugawara encourage you while forcibly putting on a number on you.

Kageyama looked at you and told you not to drag them down... It was the opposite, you could make the match end in a landslide but you weren't about to show off today, it's their moment and you can't ruin it for them.

The moment you stepped into the court, you were already supposed to serve the ball. You decided to do a normal serve just because you didn't want to look like you were an expert.. In which case you were, in a way that is.

Daichi received your serve easily and the Freckled boy tried to set it to the Tall Glasses boy

Looking at Sawamura-san, he is a receiving specialist especially since he has more experience. Freckles here looks like he just started, or is either a novice, he doesn't really have any specialty, but I can see a potential, he's tall and he does have a good build. Blonde glasses boy is either slacking off or just really bad. He's tall but there's something about him that just throws me off. He looks like he can block any hit if he wanted to... But the thing is 'if' he wanted to.

Megane-kun, spiked the ball but Kageyama easily received it. Daichi was on the left where the Tangerine is so they can't really do that quick again. You run up to the right and spiked the ball straight just before the white line.

I made a point! You thought as you feel the aftermath of the ball hitting your palm. You felt a satisfaction course through you and Kageyama gave you a look... He knows what I did.

He smirked a little and You, of course smirked back. The orange head gave the both of you a look of confusion and you hastily looked away flustered.

The game went on and of course you won... Or you guess Kageyama and Tangerine who you learned the name of Hinata. You went to the benches and asked if you could have some water

It was fun...

"I might not know you, but why do I get the feeling that you held back" You were shocked, Sugawara only met you like some days ago and yet he sees right through you already

"H-how..? "You asked slowly moving your head to face him and he just gave you a smile.

Hinata went up to you and started to compliment your accurate shots

"L/N-San, what you did was so cool! The ball went fuwah and did a swoosh!" You giggled a little at what Hinata said to you, you contemplated whether to talk to him or not.

Eh, what the heck You thought as you held up your hand to shake

"I'm L/N F/N, call me Y/N or whatever you'd like, thanks for the compliments , I guess" He shook your hand really hard with a silly grin on his face

He's really energetic. You thought again while giggling a little more

"L/N-san" Called Daichi, he walked up to you and stopped leaving a respectable gap between the two of you

"Sawamura-san, you called? " You answered looking at him in his eyes. Hinata excused himself as he was about to bug Kageyama about their new quick but honestly their friendship is quite cute.

"Please, you can call me Daichi" He chuckled before continuing what he was about to say " Why don't you join the girls volleyball team? " He suggested and you froze..

"V-volleyball?!"

I am fully aware that there are some stories that are like this... And when I started this story I was not aware until I dived deeper into the world of fanfics
