Golden Week

Miyagi Prefecture, Karasuno High,
May 5th, four days before the practice match

You were now sat at a bench by the empty court. Feeling restless, you took out your small notebook with notes on it, to review for an upcoming test after the week

The test will come in anytime! I need to do my best in class, in order to avoid extra classes and spend everyday here in the gym!

As you read through the material,  you couldn't help but think. After a few minutes, you started to wonder on why people weren't coming yet

I think I came here too early...

Uneasy, restless, bored and out of your mind, you stood up -not being able to focus-, and walked back and forth biting your nails as you continue to think the inevitable.

Someone outside was casually walking but started to flinch, the moment they laid eyes on the scene. You stopped dead on your tracks and slowly approached the said person.

You were too brain dead to fully grasp the situation. You stopped, leaving a comfortable space between the both of you and the person clearly flinched for a second.

Snapping back into reality, you recognize that it was Kiyoko. She was looking at you all confused and you couldn't help but shy away and get back to your notes

"What are you up to? " Kiyoko approached you with a smug smile, walking casually adding some sways in her steps

"Aahhh! Kiyoko-san! " You whined flailing your hands around as you throw your head back

"I'm just messing with you" She assured chuckling between her words, sitting beside you

As you bring your head back to eye level, you noticed that people were approaching the gym

"T-this never happened! " You demanded, flustered, as you run outside to the vending machine with your precious milk in

You pass by Sugawara and Asahi as they looked back at your figure still wearing the shoes that were meant for the gym. They were snickering and laughing, but instantly dropped the topic alone when Kiyoko went to talk to them

Busy digging the money from your pocket you hadn't realized that Kageyama was already there, a constipated look on his face.

You continued to walk towards him still digging treasure, when he turned around and saw you

BAM!

just like that, the Sakanoshita incident happened once again. Milk on you and him, you curse the vending machine gods as you try and wipe the milk off of you.

"Ahh, geez..." You mumble to yourself looking up

"Ōsama, I beg your pardon?" You scoffed putting a hand on your hip giving him a look

"Oi, Joō, it's your fault, isn't it?" He barked giving back the same 'vibe' that you did

Students started to pass by, giving you both a confused and the 'shits about to go down' faces

Whenever you and Kageyama bickered, it always started out by the smallest things, such as this. The stare downs you both had were of course filled with fury, but those stare downs were sometimes moments where you could clearly admire each others faces

The bags under both of your eyes, small acnes, heck even the small freckles on your faces were seen because of this. These moments seem to go on for eternity until one of you or outsiders were to interrupt
