Sara rushed to the living room and tore open her bag to find her laptop.
I groggily walked out of the bedroom and flicked on the light.
"What the hell are...?" Sara shushed me as she typed.
I watched her eyes dart around the screen.
"Sit." she commanded.
I didn't try to argue. I looked at the screen and saw images exactly like she described.
"You were here, yeah?" she said, pointing to them.
"Looks like it." I said.
She sighed and rubbed her face.
"Shane, I don't know how to explain this." she said, exasperated.
I glanced down at the forum chat.

Backrooms

There is a place in between dimensions. If you ever manage to split molecules and pass in between them, likely through a wall, you'll end up in a backroom. These are pockets of emptiness disguised as never ending hallways. Each door takes you to the next dimension, but it takes light years to make it there. The only way to get out is to find the right light.
If you don't, there will be something waiting for you to make the wrong turn. Don't make any noise, it will find you.

"Backrooms." I repeated aloud.
"Ryan is there. I can feel it. The Watcher, or whoever has him, has the ability to switch in and out of these dimensions as he pleases. Ryan is stuck there unless they let him out." she explained.
I was wringing my hands anxiously, trying to process what I just heard.
"But," Sara continued, "There could be a way to get there."
I glanced at her, surprised.
"We just need to find a door." she said.
