I paced back and forth in that room. I felt like a caged animal. They weren't joking when they called me "pet". I was left alone with little to no contact, occasionally allowed outside for the bathroom. Someone stood right outside while I took care of myself. I was allowed 5 minutes to shower.
I had one outfit, but they had given me a black jumpsuit to change into every morning. After about 4 days, I gave in and changed into them.
I was more than tired; I was debilitated. I couldn't fathom the fact I was even taken in the first place.
I was starting to feel hopeless.
As I paced in that room, I felt I needed to take extreme measures to get them to let me go.
Looking at the wired window at the door, I watched a guard walk past it, circling the hall. I clenched my hands together, and with brute force, I slammed my fists into the glass.
My hands went through, the glass cutting them to shreds.
When I pulled my hands out of the window, they were bright red. I stumbled back and shivered in fear at what I had done.
The door burst open and a guard stepped on my stomach, holding me down to the floor. He aimed a large shotgun to my head.
I grabbed the barrel and ripped it from his hands, jumping up and swinging it over his head. He collapsed to the ground. Once he did, I bashed his head over and over again until his skull was fractured.
I threw the gun down and crouched down, sobbing. I smeared blood over my face from my hands in regret.
Moments later, the Watcher came through the door, his eyes ablaze with rage.
He pulled me up and kneed me in the stomach multiple times.
He pinned me up against the wall and held my jaw closed.
"So, you've gotten cocky. You think it's a good idea to fight against us? Think again." he said. "There's only 15 minutes remaining. I'm starting to doubt your friend. It might be time we get rid of you."
I felt dread run through me, ready to give up.
Then, there was a loud, shrill ringing from the hallway.
The Watcher groaned and let go of me. He walked out of the room, slamming the door.
I slid against the wall and grabbed my face, curling up into fetal position.
I stared at the body next to me. His face was caved in on one side and his nose and eyes were bleeding. My stomach twisted with disgust.
A minute or two passed, and the Watcher walked back inside.
"You're in luck." he stated, "They have arrived."
