"So you're new here, huh?" Nathaniel said as he turned to face me. "Look I don't feel like showing you around so find someone else." He paused. "Oh thanks for coming in at the right moment, because if it wasn't for you, I'd most likely be serving lunch detention." He smirked.

I gaped at him as he turned around and walked away. So many emotions ran through me. Finally, as Nathaniel arrived at the corner where he could disappear, I gathered my senses and called out to him.

"Wait," I ran to catch up to him and grabbed his arm--

--his filthy arm that punched me how many times?

"Are you sure about that?" I questioned him, breaking his confidence and disgusting little smirk.

His eyes narrowed. "Are you questioning my motives?"

I returned his smirk. "What else would I be doing? I'm sure your little blonde head can wrap itself around that."

I released my grip on his arm, pivoted, and faced the Main Office again. With confidence and a small bounce in my steps I began walking. I grinned as I heard the patter of his feet and a second later and a hand grabbed my arm. Suddenly, without warning, he yanked me to him and brought me much too close for my comfort, just saying.

"Don't play with me like that," his hot breath fanned over my sensitive neck.

I shut my eyes and shivered. Memories of his cruel, cold voice filled my head.

Get a hold of yourself, it's time to put things in action, Evangelyn.

"Play with you like what?" I replied innocently. Then, I raised my head to face his. I traced a finger along his sharp jawline and stared into his intense gaze. He stared back, not moving a muscle. I grasped his white button up and pulled his face to me, level with mine. His minty, hot breath enveloped me and I took a deep breath. Gracefully, I leaned in and he followed in suit. I watched with open eyes as his blue eyes closed.

"I suppose I shouldn't do this then?" I breathed onto his face and pulled away.

His face flashed anger, surprise, and I saw something else that I couldn't recognize... Maybe lust? However, he quickly regained his confidence in a flash.

"Oh you're good at this," He studied my face, making me want to squirm in disgust.

Keep your cool and don't blow it now.

"Thanks," I covered my disgust with a sweet smile. "So, care to show me my classes?"

Listen carefully Nathaniel, show me my classes and I'll be more than happy to show you my revenge. Certaintly not fair, but you weren't exactly fair with me either, Walkers.

"Here's your 5th period class. I'll meet you outside, right here after 5th to escort you to lunch." Nathaniel informed me in a monotone voice.

"Yeah thanks," I smiled slyly and trailed my fingers down his arm.

He raised an eyebrow and I walked inside, leaving him outside the classroom.

"Okay, you newbies, I'm Mr. Smith and settle down, I'm calling role." A middle aged man with short brown hair gestured us to sit and quiet down.

"Clay Abernathy?"

"Here."

"Julia Bell?"

"Present, sir"

"Evangelyn Brooks?"
