Beside Luke (Luke Hemmings Imagine)

It was a rainy July morning, a day after Luke's 18th birthday. The both of you live in the same house since you're on your legal age and even your parents allowed it.
You woke up with Luke saying, "Good Morning lovely, I love you."
You smiled at him and replied, "Too."
He softly kissed your forehead, down to your nose and lastly your lips. You smiled at him, never wanting the moment to end while your legs were perfectly entwined and he hugging you tightly. Luke and you stayed in tha position for about an hour.
You felt the ray of sun touching your skin and that signaled you to get up, you also commanded Luke to do the same thing but he seemed to be knackered because of his party. After fixing yourself, you went to the living room and started cleaning piles of mess that were left by last night's affair.
You were busy cleaning and you didn't notice that Luke followed you in the living room and surprisingly hugged you from behind. You grunted but he didn't care, he just continued embracing you tightly. You smelled his fragrant scent as you felt the warmth of his body opposing the cold weather.
You turned around and faced him. You looked up at him because he's 6 feet while you're only 5'4" and said, "The way you hug me seems like it's the last time you will hug me."
His smile vanished slowly and he let go of you from his embrace. You wondered, "Hun, what's wrong?"
Tears started to form in the corners of his eyes. He stared at you, his face was sorry.
Your heart was beating faster than normal, you were desperate to know what he's up to say something you didn't know and you felt worried, "Hemmings, tell me what's wrong?"
He held your hands and looked at your eyes sincerely. He was shaking, tears dripped down his face and he said, "Hun, I'm leaving tomorrow. The boys and I will fly to the States to sign a new record deal. It was unexpected, I only knew it last night."
You were dumbfounded upon hearing what he said. The fact that your boyfriend will leave urgently while you're unprepared tore your heart into pieces. You thought all your plans that should've been done during his break but unfortunately,those plans wouldn't happen because he'll set out again like what he always did.
You wanted to sob but you controlled your emotions and you just said, "How long you will be gone?"
He removed his eyes at you, still crying, "2 months."
Pain hit you and you flinched. At first, you couldn't speak and looked up to the ceiling to avoid tears from falling. But you choked hardly and uttered, "2 months is a long time Hemmings."
"I know hun... I don't wanna go either but I don't have a choice. We have to go there for endorsements, guestings and recordings. My career lies on it."
You sat in sofa and left Luke standing. "Do you know how does it feel being here without you for 3 months?! I don't ever wanna let you go either but it would be selfish of me to do that!", you screamed and started to cry.
Luke ran to your seat and comforted you. He wiped your tears and spoke, "I hate to see you crying especially when it's about me. I know it's painful for you but it's more painful in my part knowing that I will leave you again. It kills me everyday that I'm not with you, everytime you sleep and wake up alone," he placed his hands on his heart, "my heart wants to come home."
You raised your eyes, "That's a line from Beside You. Don't mess with me Hemmings."
"I'm not messing with you hun. Haven't I told you that I wrote Beside You only for you?"
Your eyes glowed with gladness and your hurt was somehow took away. Their hit song was dedicated for you. You slapped him in his shoulder and blurted, "Idiot, why haven't you told me? Maybe that's why I feel special everytime I listen to it."
He leaned closer to you, "See, distance isn't a problem for love, that's what I learned from the boys of 1D. Look at them, their relationships with their girlfriends are still going stronger and I want ours to be like them," he said and even leaned closer to you. "Just trust me Kenley,
everything will be okay." And he finally planted a sweet peck on your lips.
"I'm gonna miss your lips,"he added.
"Me too," you replied and kissed him back.
You pulled from each other to gasp for air. "By the way, what about our plans? You will left them undone?", you asked him.
He held your chin, "Who says that they'll be undone? Of course not."
You looked confused, "But you're leaving tomorrow."
"We'll work on your papers so you can visit me in the States after a month."
You looked at him with your eyes wide open. "Seriously?"
"Yes hun, I wanna be with you."
You jumped out of your seat and landed on his lap. "OMG! I'm so excited. I can't wait to make great memories with you there," you said as you winked at him.
He winked back, "It's a relief that we're now alright. Just trust me. Our love will last forever." And he reached for your hand.
"Duh, you sound antsy."
"You can say all you want but I don't care that's because I love you. Anyway, I'll make it up to you today. Let's go outside to drink coffee."
"I don't want. It's cold outside." You placed your head on his shoulder, still on his lap. "I like to be in this position so I can feel your warmth."
He smiled at you and carried you bridal style to his bedroom leaving the mess uncleaned. Luke laid you on the bed. He also lied next to you, wrapped his arms around you, feet perfectly entwined with each other and your head resting on his chest.
You wanted to pause the time and enjoy the moment but you remembered packing his things, "Hey hun, I think we should pack up your things."
"Forget about those things, they can wait," he raised your face so you could look at him, "I just wanna spend the remaining hours of my stay with you. I love you Kenley," he said sweetly.
"Okay, I love you too."
He cheekly grinned at you and you felt his lips touching yours.
