4. Not fine

Despite Seungmin's plea, Changbin drunk more than the younger and his boyfriend let him. Seeing the older so heart-broken when he told them about the unexpected meeting and Hyunjin's attitude towards him, the boy didn't have the heart to stop him.

Now that Changbin was on his fifth shot of vodka Seungmin's concerns amplified. Suddenly, the older turned all giggly and announced that he's going to finally move on. The two companions got alarmed when he stood up wobbly from his seat.

"Hyung, I don't think it's a good i-"

Before Seungmin could end, the older cut in.

"You two," he pointed at the two boyfriends, "should have some fun instead of listening to my pathetic love life," Changbin said smiling sadly.

Seungmin glanced at Chan who had the same worried expression painted all over his face.

"How about we drive you home? If you keep drinking you'll only end up regretting it tomorrow," extending his hand to pat the slightly younger on the shoulder, Chan asked with sincere sympathy.

Changbin lifted his eyes to meet the two concerned friends and a small chuckle left his lips.

"It's fine. I'm not gonna drink anymore, okay? Go and have fun, please. I'll sober up in a bit and head home first. "

After what felt like ages, Seungmin broke the silence: "All right but you have to promise us that you'll do as you have said." The younger's gaze fell upon the raven-haired who flashed him a lopsided smile and put up his hand as if to swear.

"If you need anything just call me, okay?" Seungmin asked one last time before grabbing his slightly stunned boyfriend's hand and pulled him onto the dancefloor where he pushed their bodies closer than necessary leaning into Chan's right ear.

"Minnie?" was all that left the boy's lips.

"Don't worry. I might have come up with a perfect solution for Changbin's misery," he whisper-yelled into his ear making Chan only more perplexed but how could he think straight when the boy's petite frame was literally pressing on his own?

Seeing the boy flash him a reassuring smile the older decided to leave it be. He trusted his lover. Instead of worrying about the slightly wasted friend back in their booth, he grabbed Seungmin's hips while planting a gentle kiss on the sensitive skin under the boy's defined jaw before growling playfully: "Don't even think of moving away now."

The younger chuckled into his curly hair. They couldn't care less if there were some homophobic people in the crowd. Even if there were any, most people were too occupied with their own partners or too drunk to notice the two lovers.

Meanwhile, Changbin stared blankly at the table's surface when a hand tapped on his shoulder followed by a quiet nervous cough making his eyes look up at the person who dared to approach him.

"Uh hi? I saw you sit by yourself and I wanted to ask if you were alone here?"

The boy blinked a few times to focus his vision on the young beautiful girl with her cheeks dusted pink probably due to some alcoholic beverage. She had a shy smile adorning her soft features.

"I'm-"

"He's with me and we were about to leave." a familiar voice cut in.

Changbin's heart skipped a beat. Was he imagining things? The voice sounded loud and clear.

The girl whipped her head in the direction of the voice, blushing even harder at the sight.

Before Changbin could react he was holed up by his arm which ended being wrapped around the taller's shoulder; the man's other free hand securing his waist.

"Excuse my bluntness but a young lady like you should not approach men in places like this. You might end up being hurt," Hyunjin explained with as much gentleness in his tone as the blasting music allowed him to before turning to get out, the dazed boy still in his hold.

"Hey, where are you taking me?!" on the way out, the older slurred pulling away from the strong grip on his waist.

"Home," Hyunjin stated calmly not minding the other's futile attempts of freeing himself.
