"All I need in my life is you, no one else. I want to wake up next to you every day. I want to put a smile on your face and be your shoulder to lean on."  a desperate cry left Hyunjin's lips. "I want to spend my whole life with you."

"I don't," dryly, Changbin addressed his statements, praying his voice wouldn't betray him.

"You are lying! You are lying to yourself." shouting, the younger tried again.

"Maybe I am but we can't be together. We can't be a lovey-dovey couple for the rest of our lives. We- no, I am no longer a teenager. We live in a society that doesn't accept us-"

"But we love each other! This should be all that matters." cutting in, the younger took his lover's hands into his own not agreeing to let him go either physically or metaphorically.

Please don't make it harder than it already is.

Changbin swallowed down the burning sensation of anguish and with a soft but stern voice spoke out:

"I'm sorry but what you feel now is attraction, not love. In the future, you'll meet someone with whom you will truly fall in love and will be able to create a happy family." he paused to steady his voice, "But it's not me," almost inaudibly, he whispered feeling his heart shatter into a million pieces at the realization of his own words.

He wanted to shout, to fight for their love but he knew it would only bring them more harm. Changbin would cope with it but the thought of ruining his beloved one life was unbearable. Locking their cheerful days away in the depths of his heart, he decided to surrender to the harsh reality.

A stray tear fell down his cheek as he retrieved his hands from the younger's grasp with head hung low but Hyunjin caught them once again yanking him closer. His other hand lifted his chin to make the older look him in the eyes.

Not even two clock strikes hit when their lips smashed together; bodies crashed into a tight embrace leaving no space between the two lovers. Hot tears flowed down their cheeks while their lips performed a bitter-sweet tragedy.

Groping possessively, Hyunjin's hands traced every inch of Changbin's trembling body, too scared to ever forget how he felt underneath his fingertips. The older sobbed quietly letting muffled sounds of pleasure against the brunette's poison-dripping lips - the more their mouth met, the more his soul ached in agony as if it was being split in half.

If they were to never hold each other again, every moment left had to be savored and cherished.

"Hyunjin... Please," out of breath, Changbin cried against the younger's lips.

Was it a plea to stop or to fill him up with every piece of his being, it was a secret only the dusk knew.

Hyunjin blinked away the tears and without further instructions, he led the older to the bedroom with hands securing his waist where he laid the love of his life down on the jet-black silk sheets shimmering in the moonlight that seeped into the room through a window.

A few hungry kisses while fumbling with clothes was all it took to leave them both with no fabrics covering their selves - two vulnerable hearts aching for each other's warmth, bodies itching to become one.

One last time, Hyunjin covered Changbin in love marks.

One last time, Changbin left scratches on Hyunjin's arms and back while the younger made love to him.

One last time, they reached their climaxes in each other's embrace.

One last time, they fell asleep with bodies tangled under warm covers, wishing the moment would last forever.

But the morning came in the blink of an eye and 'forever' changed into 'never'.

Hi everyone! 💞

Thank you for reading my book. Please feel free to comment and vote.

It's my first time writing angst although I have had a few sad fanfic ideas in my notepad before and to be honest I got very emotional while writing it, even ending up crying.

Anyway, have a lovely day/night. 💗
