I rummage inside my bag as I take out my phone, I look at the caller ID before swiping to the right and placing it on my ear.

"Hello? Aehye?"

"Hello?" I responded.

"Aehye!"

"Seokjin! I missed you? Wait, what happened? Did something go wrong? How did you get your phone?"

"I'm finally free!" He shouts through the other line and I squint at his over-excitedness.

"That's great! I'm glad they did listen to you!" I smiled as my eyes widened, thrill washing over my veins as I heard his cheery voice from the other line.

"Yup! They didn't find any evidence that it was me! So I'm packing up and I got my phone back! Wanna visit me?" He asks me from the line as I heard a small zip.

"Sure! I have to go to class first, I'll meet you in 5 PM," I said as I talked through the other line.

"Okay! I won't be out until 3 PM so I guess you can use the car to pick me up," Seokjin replied.

"Alright! I'll pick you up through car! I'm so excited to meet you again!" I said and he I heard his chuckle through the line.

"Of course you miss me! I have to go now! Bye!" Jin said and I heard a beep indicating he already ended the call.

I turned my phone off before putting it back in my bag. And I faced Taehyung who was looking at me with a small smile on his face, a bag on his shoulder as he looked at me.

"So.... it's your cousin? He's going to get out of jail now?" He asked me as we exited his room and proceeded to go downstairs.

"Yup! He's innocent so they released him, I'm so relieved," I replied as we made our way downstairs and towards the front door.

"Well, I'm glad for you," Taehyung said as he opened the front door and he went out first before I followed him.

He locked the door and we made our way to the gate. Soon, we were now on our way to school.

There was a huge silence between both of us as we made our way to the university. It was almost sad to say that it was awkward.

"Aehye," a voice called me and I turned my head to the direction to where it came from, and it broke the silent tension for a bit.

"Tomorrow, how about we work on our project somewhere else? You know," Taehyung spoke up as he looked at me with a small smile.

"Where should we make our project?" I asked him and he pondered for a bit.

"The park, let's go to the park," Taehyung replied as we stopped infront of the gates of the university.

"Thats sounds good, I'll see you there," I gave him a soft smile as we waved our hands at each other, going to our seperate ways as we walked towards the entrance and to the locker room.

"Aehye! Aehye!" A voice called me and I turned my head towards the person calling me.

"Hey, what's up?" I replied as I took out the books I needed for the assigned schedule of today.

"There's an assembly today and we should go to the auditorium," he said as he looked at me.

"Oh, I'll go there as soon as possible, what's this about this time?" I asked.

"It's about Soobin's murder case," Jimin replied as he shoved his hands in his front pockets.

Suddenly, I felt all the hairs in my body standing up just from hearing his name. And flashbacks started to flood my mind from what I first saw him as an.... evil spirit.

Pale skin and dark eyes. Poor Soobin.

"Sure, I'll go there," I smiled at him and he smiled back before turning his heel and walking towards where the direction of the auditorium was.

I walked towards the auditorium with crowd of students, they started lining themselves up in straight rows in their assigned sections and classes. I stood in the girls' line and we were facing the huge stage with it's curtains parted.

"Is everyone here? Good. Hello, I'm Ms. Moon, the guidance counselor. And today we are going to hold an assembly and a small speech from a special person," she spoke as she read the script.

"Now please, today our principal is absent and will not be attending the assembly so let us welcome our vice principal," she spoke and we started applauding our hands to the vice principa who stepped up the podium.

"Good Morning, today we have a very devastating news that one of our students have passed away and is one of the victims for the murder spree happening in our town right now. So today I would like to announce that starting today, we will be shortening our classes until morning because the police will be conducting an interrogation and investigation in this matter. We will resume our classes next week after the investigation is done," the vice principal said as she read through her script whilst talking in the microphone.

"Hey Aehye," a voice said as it was now after assembly and we were now in our classrooms, waiting for the teacher to arrive.

"Hey," I replied as I looked at the person who was now standing infront of me.

"Can I.... sit with you for a bit?"
