(He's still so adorable, don't even lie about it)The next day at school, I stood at my locker, grabbing my stuff when I felt someone tap my shoulder. I turned around to see Ali, standing there with a smile. "Hey, whats up?" She shrugged.
"Sara and I are planning on going to the arcade later. You wanna come?" I gave a sympathetic look.
"I can't today, gonna have to take a raincheck." Ali gave me a sad smile.
"All right, next time. See you later!" I waved goodbye, before returning my attention to my locker. I felt another tap on my shoulder, but I turned around and no one was there. I turned to my otherside, landing on Daniel. My eyes landed on the large cut on his forehead, making me wince.
"Christ. Is your head okay?" I moved my thumb gently over the cut, making him wince slightly. "Sorry." I said, bringing my hand back.
"It's alright. It's a runaway zit." I raised an eyebrow at him, an disbelieving look on my face. "Okay, it's not." I smiled, humming in response.
"Does it have anything to do with you wrecking your bike yesterday?" Daniel looked at me, surprised.
"How do you.."
"I heard you last night. Was it Johnny?" Daniel didn't respond, but he didn't have to.
"Yeah, I figured." I patted his back softly.
"Don't worry about me. I'm fine." Daniel flashed me a smile, but I knew it was a fake one. I just hoped that the surprise later would make him feel better.

3rd POV
Daniel wasn't sure how it was possible, but his bike was leaning against the wall near his door, almost brand new. He looked around confused before his eyes landed on the wooden door near the dumpster. He walked down the stairs and past the sludge green pool, before walking towards the door.
He opened it slowly, his eyes landing on the familiar redhead and Mr Miyagi sitting quietly, cutting trees. Daniel knocked gently on the door, making both Mr Miyagi and Marie look up.
"Hey, did you fix my bike?" Daniel asked. Marie smiled as Mr Miyagi continued cutting his tree.
"Hai. With help from Marie-san." He barely looked up, but Mr Miyagi was smiling nonetheless."Thank you." Daniel responded, still standing in the doorway.
"Welcome." Miyagi responded, cutting away at the branches.
"I really appreciate it." Marie smiled, continuing to cut the small tree in front of her. "Are those real trees?" Daniel asked, curiously. Marie looked up and waved at Daniel, waving him over to her.
"If you wanna see, you'd have a better chance from the doorway." Daniel smiled wider, walking over to stand next to Marie.
"How'd they get so small?" He asked, watching as the tree branches fell onto the table.
"I train. Clip here, tie here." Mr Miyagi explained.
"Where'd you learn how? Japan?" Marie looked at him.
"Okinawa." She chirped, tying a branch carefully.
"Where's that?" Daniel asked, looking at Mr Miyagi.
"My country." Mr Miyagi held up a hand. As he explained, Mr Miyagi pointed to each of his fingers. "China here. Japan here. Okinawa here.""Did you go to school for this?" Daniel asked, gently touching Marie's tree.
Mr Miyagi shook his head, cutting his tree gently. "Father teach."
