"Daniel's been avoiding me all week. He doesn't talk to me anytime I'm at Mr Miyagi's, and the tournament is in two days." I walked with Ali and a few of her friends into class, sighing.

"Well, forget him then. He doesn't deserve you." I gave a sad smile, still walking with them. "Hey, how about we go to Golf and Stuff this weekend? Get your mind off of Daniel." I shrugged.

"I don't know. I'll have to think about it." Ali smiled at me before patting my shoulder.

"Just think about it, alright? I'll see you after class." I gave her another smile, before walking into class. I sat down at my desk, holding my chin in my hand as people began filtering into class.

"Hi." I scoffed at Johnny as he sat down at the desk behind me.

"Leave me alone." I replied, clenching my jaw.

"I just wanna talk." I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah, and I wanted to leave last week, and I ended up getting unwillingly kissed." I snapped.

"And you punched me in the jaw." He shot back.

"What point of 'unwillingly kissed' did you not understand? Also, your jaw is the reason I sprained my wrist" I replied again, shaking my head.

Johnny was silent as I grabbed my stuff and moved away, not bothering to follow me.

I walked out of class, meeting Ali outside. "Hi." I said, walking down the hall.

"Hi, you okay?" I shook my head.

"Nope, let's go." I said, pulling her arm. I was looking at the ground, before looking up cause I bumped into someone. "Sorry." I muttered, still walking.

I looked forwards, and made eye contact with someone who I didn't want to have made eye contact with. The familiar chocolate brown eyes making eye contact with me. Daniel's face was blank, and in a split second the eye contact was broken.

I sighed softly as Daniel walked away, chewing my cheek. "You know what, I'll go with you guys to golf and stuff." Ali smiled.

"Great. We'll pick you up tomorrow." I nodded, before walking into my next class.

~ ~ ~ ~    "I'm just saying you should forget about Daniel. There's plenty of fish in the sea." I gave a smile to Jessica.

"Thanks Jess." Jess patted my shoulder, before we walked into Golf and Stuff.

"Alright, no more boy talk. We're here to have fun." Ali said, opening the door. "So let's have fun!" I smiled at her excitement.

"You're right. I need to get some stuff off my mind." I smiled, excited.

"Exactly. You finally get the point." Sara said, grabbing my wrist. I winced a little.

"Sara, gentle." Ali said as we walked over to a game.

"Sorry, Marie." She responded, letting go of my wrist.

"Don't worry. It's ok." I gave her a smile, standing near Ali as the played the first round of some video game.

I stood with Ali and Jess, shooting random disks on a tv screen when someone jumped in front of it. "No, don't shoot, I'm begging you." My face dropped, before Ali aimed the fake gun at his chest, shooting. We dropped the guns as he stumbled forwards, fake dying.

"Oh, no, don't leave me here, I'm injured." I heard Jess scoff.

"Good, maybe you'll die." I rolled my eyes, heading to another game. I stood and tried playing before I felt someone touch my arm.

"Hey. I just wanted to apologize." I kept my eyes on the game.

"Fine, then apologize." I replied, still looking at the game.

"You know, I got my license." I was still ignoring Daniel as he spoke.

"Yeah, and what'd you do?" I asked, my tone bland.

"Hey, what's with you." It took everything in my body not to scoff.

"What do you expect me to do? Cartwheels?" I replied sarcastically.

"No, I just expected a little bit of courtesy maybe, but I guess that just for people with fancy friends or approving parents, things like that right?" I rolled my eyes before walking away from the game. I walked over to Ali, watching her as she played a spinner game as I continued to ignore Daniel.

"Hey can't you take a hint?" I heard Jess ask faintly, stopping Daniel from walking over. I watched out of the corner of my eye as he moved aside, walking past her.

"What's the matter, truth hurt?" Daniel asked, getting upset again.

"So you really think that's it, don't you?" I asked, shaking my head.

"Yeah, I know that's it." I scoffed before looking up at him.

"Yeah, well you're wrong." I shot, giving him a glare.

"Oh I bet I'm wrong." He replied sarcastically.

"You know Daniel, I didn't like you because of a car, or anything." I said, crossing my arms.

"Oh yeah, while we're on the subject why did ya." I didn't answer, trying to catch my temper as I looked away. "Why did you?" He asked again.

    "Because I thought.."

    "Huh?" He asked.

"Because I thought that you were different." I replied.

"Oh yeah, we're different. You've got friends from the Hills and I've only got friends from Reseda. So you're better than me." I shook my head, turning away. Daniel appeared in front of me.

"Then admit you can't handle the situation the way it is then." I was looking down, but my head shot up at that.

"No, I can handle it fine, Daniel. It's you who can't." With one final head shake I walked past him and towards the door.
