Chapter 14

I finally arrived at The Quiet Coffee Cup and there was absolutely no one there except this light grey volvo. I parked and noticed the man who was sitting in the volvo had his window fully down. It was very unsettling, it's like he's been waiting there for awhile now. I looked down at my phone for just a second to text Tyler back when I noticed he started making his way towards me. I didn't even see him get out of his car. The man was slim and extremely tall. His hair was deep brunette in color and slick back. He had a nose piercing and black studs that took my breath away. The black shirt he was wearing complemented his muscular figure. His eyes could take you anywhere in the ocean they were so pigmented. Even those clear glasses he was wearing gave me chills. Whenever he was walking over he smiled and those silver braces of his nearly blinded me. I quickly unbuckled and almost jumped out of my car. He came up and held out a hand and suddenly pulled me close. "I notice you're alone, why don't we change that..? He whispered in my ear when suddenly. "Hello? Are you Aaron Chavez?" I realized I visioned what would happen and saw I was still in my car. "Oh, um yeah. And who might you be?" I replied with a nervous look on my face. "My name is Johnathan and I'm your brother!!" Suddenly I snapped back into reality. "Excuse me what?!"

"Here, let's go get a table and talk about everything." Johnathan answered. I was attracted to my own brother?! What kind of sick person does that!! Even when I have a boyfriend... "Hello...?" he quietly said."OH! Sorry I was... thinking for a second. Sure let's go." We walked inside and I was still shaking a little bit. I was never told I had a brother. I wonder how long my parents kept this a secret from me. He brought me a cup of coffee and sat down in front of me. "So, you're probably wondering how I contacted you and everything else but I'll get to that in a second. We come from the same mom, but not the same dad. My mom, or our mom. Abandoned me when I was a child. She took me to an orphanage when I was about maybe 5 months old and never came back. I never knew my father but I remember getting a glimpse at my mom and just remembering that she was the most beautiful person I had ever seen. You know, no one ever adopted me. No one ever even tried. I was there until I was 16 or 17. I ran away and tried vending for myself for once. Before I left I took everything that was for me. Letters from family members on my dad's side, but none from mom. I remember she was so young. Maybe about 15 or 16? Which is kind of an explanation of why she left me the way she did. I found who my mom was maybe about 13 years ago? I've been trying to track her down ever since then. I just want to hug her and never let go." I suddenly felt this sharp pain in my chest. He didn't know that she was... gone. "Aaron, where is mother?" he asked with a bright smile on his face. I couldn't tell him but I couldn't lie to him either. So I decided to pull up the news video about mom and dad. "Here just, watch this." I told him. "Ha! Was mom some kind of news reporter or something?!" he laughed slightly. *...now we are just hearing that a married couple had just been murdered. Their names were Ryan and Amelia.*

 Johnathan's Thoughts

No... it can't be.. *..apparently they were murdered in their own home jerry!* No.... No...
