PANIC SURGED THROUGH Skylar as multiple crashes came from further in the school, proving how much danger they were in. The kids raced through the halls of the school they once trusted, searching for a way out.

Lucas and Skylar were in the lead, hand in hand. Mike and El were just behind them, and Dustin took up the back, peering around corners and checking for their hunters.

"How did they find us?" Lucas fretted, pulling them around a corner. The lights were out, and the hallways had an eerie vibe,.

"I don't know," Mike called, "But they knew we were in the gym."

"Lando." Dustin said, and Skylar threw her free hand into the air in frustration.

"Who is Lando?!"

Nobody answered her, and the doors at the far end of the hallway were kicked open forcefully, light washing over them.

"Go, go, go!" Mike screeched, and the kids span around, racing back the way they came.

Skylar's chest tightened as the threat of being caught became real. Would they take her to the lab? Would they take Eleven back? Worst of all, what would they do to her friends?

"Come on!" Lucas tugged Skylar, who was lagging behind from her terror. She was still bone-tired, and she could feel her eyelids starting to droop.

More agents crowded around the door they had all ran through, and they turned around quickly, only to see a crowd of people walk through. They were surrounded.

A gun was held towards them, and the kids all grouped together, looking around for any way to escape. Nothing presented itself.

But then the flash-lights started flickering, and all of the agents heads turned slack, before blood began pouring from their eyes in a way so similar to what Skylar had seen before.

"No! No, no, no!" Skylar gasped, stumbling backwards as the people all fell to the ground with sickening thuds.

Skylar closed her eyes tightly, and she felt Lucas' arms holding her upright. Images of her father dying the same way flashed through her mind, and her heart was pounding so fast she felt sick.

"You killed him." Skylar croaked, looking straight up at Eleven. "You did that to him."

"Bad man." Eleven whispered, her eyes tearing up at the state of Skylar.

"But you just.. you just.." Skylar trailed off, gesturing towards the bodies. "And then you just disappeared."

Eleven winced, a trail of blood coming from her nose, before collapsing to the ground heavily.

"El!" Mike begged, shaking her, "Are you okay? Wake up!"

The girl didn't stir, and Skylar pushed herself against the wall, silent tears of shock pouring down her face, just like they had that night.
