A SHAKY LAUGH LEFT SKYLAR'S mouth, "So, all we have to do is work out where it is in Hawkins? That's the riddle?"

"Yeah!" Bob grinned, looking over to Will expectantly, "Right?"

Will said nothing, and only nodded wordlessly, his entire body shivering from his drawling breaths.

"Great!" Bob chuckled, rushing over to the dining table and pulling out a larger assortment of pens than Skylar had ever seen.

The group began parading around the house as they worked out the exact location of Hopper, rulers strewn over the floor and little pencil indents evident on the drawings.

While Skylar and Mike worked tirelessly in the kitchen, Will just watched them indifferently, his eyes scanning over them with contempt.

"Will?" Skylar panted, struggling with the end of a tape measure, "Are you just gonna stand there, or?"

Will seemed to shrug himself out of whatever stupor he was in, striding forward and snatching the yellow end from Skylar's grasp roughly. Where their skin had collided, Skylar felt a heavy burning, and she healed it quickly while sending Will suspicious looks.

She couldn't shake the feeling that Will was hiding something from her - especially after the several harsh glares he had sent only her the entire day. Skylar chewed her lip, wondering if she had done something to upset him.

"If you are twisting my arm.." Bob's voice came from the table, and Skylar walked in to see him in front of everyone else, "I would say that the X is... maybe a half mile south-east of Danford?"

"Thank you! Thank you!" Joyce cried, quickly leaning forward and kissing Bob on the cheek, making him turn a pale pink.

Joyce grabbed the map and sprinted from the room, everyone following her immediately. Skylar tugged on her jumper and boots, quickly tying up her hair into a ponytail.

"Wait.. are we really gong?" Bob called, stumbling after them. Nobody replied, and he got into the car alongside them, seemingly unaware of the stifling tension.

The car grumbled as they drove for what felt like hours, the sky curdling around them and casting them into shadowed, unfamiliar land.

"There's nothing," Mike fretted, "There's nothing here."

Skylar looked around, grimacing in agreement. Nothing but field stretched out endlessly, small creatures skittering around and leaping from tussock to tussock in the fading light.

"Are.. are we close?" Joyce sighed, her eyes flickering towards the map that Bob had tightly in his hands.

"We're in the vicinity." Bob muttered, his fingers tracing the lines carefully.

"What does that mean? The vicinity?" Joyce breathed out angrily, immediately sending Bob an apologetic look. Skylar and Mike shared an uncomfortable look as the two adults argued.
