It was another day. It was another sunny day. It was another sunny day at the pool. Back then, all my time was spent in the pool. I loved that pool. We couldn't go in the winter so the summer was my time. I used to go with my friends, but they got tired of going every single day.
"All you do is swim", one of them said.
"Why don't we watch a movie?", another one said.
"I don't want to swim anymore", they all said. I simply ignored them.
I didn't need them.

I was just fine swimming all day. I trained vigorously too. I planned to get to the Olympics. So every day of summer I swam and swam until it started to get dark.
One summer, something was wrong. Something felt wrong. The pool was still there, and I still did my swimming every day of the week, so what was going on?
The water was colder, the air was colder, but when you left the pool, it immediately turned into that hot summer breeze than we all know. I was always alone at the pool because most people either went on weekends or got annoyed seeing me everyday swimming. Somehow, I felt like I wasn't alone. Like I was being watched. I looked around, and I couldn't see anyone.

"Who's there", I yelled, and nothing. No one was there, yet it felt like everyone was.
This went on for a couple of weeks until it happened.
I was swimming like usual, and I felt someone get in the pool, but no one was there. I watched this invisible thing to make its way to me in the water, and it disappeared. Suddenly, I felt this pressure on my head, pushing me underwater and not allowing me to breathe. I yelled and screamed for health but eventually, I got out. I floated above and saw my cold pale body, rotting, face forward into the water.
I died.
I don't know what that thing was.

I just know, it was the drowning of me.
