Every night,
She is sound asleep, Every morning, She is wide awake
Never once noticing, My survey of her Her life and
My knife
She leaves for work,
She most scrutinizing hours of my day, It feels like a wait,
From December to May.
She comes home,She rests,
She does nothing, I remain there.
Watching and waiting Waiting and watching
For my opportunity
My opportunity to find her
I know exactly where she lives,
I have memorized her address From the moment she stepped into that brick-walled apartment
I know every piece of clothing she owns,
I know her license plate number,
I know at what time she leaves her apartment I know when she sleepsWhen she's awake When she eats Where she eats What she eats And how.
I've studied her apartment
From the outside
I've studied it well
I know exactly how to get to her room
On Saturday,
The day has come
I'm ready
I've been ready since I saw her
I walked to her door at dawn, Knife in hand, slowly.I make my way to her room, She is asleep
I wake her up, she screams.
'I have waited for this for so long'
And with my knife, I pulled her guts out.
