Late at night,

I couldn't sleep,
For some strange reason, I couldn't sleep
I was tired,
And did not want to wake, Considering,
It was already too late.
'Stay in bed,
You'll sleep quickly', What a lie,
I told meekly
'I can not sleep'
I told myself
Which from my bed, Made me leap.

I stood up, Rubbing my eyes, Lighting a candle, At midnight.
I felt tired
I felt hungry I was wired I felt angry
'You're hungry'
I said,
It's the food you lack, So I went to the kitchen, For a snack.
As I approached the kitchen door,

I felt a presence, On the floor.
From the ground, it emerged, So big and spooky,
So bizarre,
And rare and far away.
It got closer,
I was scared, It got meaner, I prepared.
The ghost came at me, What was I to do,
The ghost came at me, I'd met my doom.
From that night,

I was never seen again, From that night,
A ghostly woman I became.
