"Are you sure I can have it? It looks fancy... and expensive." Steven asked hesitantly, eyeing the necklace that Sadie told him that he could have.

The necklace looking expensive, with the pure crystal diamonds looking on the necklace with the chain, made out from gold, Steven began to hesitate that he wanted the necklace anymore.

Recently, Steven has been bugging himself to buy you a present due it's your birthday coming up and he panicked, so he goes to Sadie for help which led him into Sadie's basement room; Steven loved being there, it brought the memories of when Sadie started the band - Sadie and the suspects.

Sadie shrugged her shoulders, humming boredly. "Yeah, I'm pretty sure. You told me that (Y/N) isn't that kind of girl to have foods or joyrides for a gift so I think jewellery might help. Besides, I'm a girl. I love jewellery. So you have nothing to worry about!" Sadie reassured, slowly handing the necklace to Steven.

Steven hummed, grabbing the necklace from Sadie, he eyed it carefully and mesmerised its beauty; Steven sighed, can't really think of other gifts for you, he just gladly took it.

"Well, you are technically a girl so I believe you. Thanks again Sadie, I know you have somewhere else to be." Steven said apologetically, rubbing the back of his neck.

Sadie punched Steven's shoulder playfully, giving him a bright smile. "Don't worry. She's going to love it! Knowing (Y/N), she probably crying her eyes out even if you give dirt to her." Sadie joked, giggled.

Steven chuckled as well, rubbing his neck again. "You're right. Thanks again-"

All of the sudden, Steven's phone vibrated inside of his pocket, hummed in curiosity, he fished out his phone before looked at the ID caller - Amethyst; Steven holds one finger to Sadie, apologetically mumble apologise, Sadie just shrugged it off and silently nod her head to Steven, giving the signal that he should pick it up, listening to Sadie's advice, he slides his finger across his phone and picked up the call.

Steven cleared his throat nervously. "H-Hey Amethyst, what's going on?" Steven asked, his voice could be heard as shaken.

Sadie gave him a quiet laugh, made Steven blushed in embarrassment but soon ignored it; at the other side of the line, Steven heard some ruffles before a voice answering him.

"Nah, nothing up. But Pearl told me to tell you that she wanted you to be in today's lesson. Are you free?" Amethyst asked.

Steven looked at Sadie, humming unsurely, Sadie heard Amethyst's question so she gave him assure nods which made Steven calmed down a bit; returning to his call, he grinned.

"Yeah, I'm free. What's today's lesson about?" Steven asked, chucking the necklace into his left front pocket.

Amethyst hummed first, thinking as she had forgotten about it, Steven waited patiently. "Oh! It's about fusions and stuff. Pearl got curious if (Y/N) can or cannot fuse other than with Garnet which I knew that she could because she's like you. But she still wanted to make sure if two hybrids could fuse or not. So, you up?"

"Yeah, I'll be there in 10." Steven replied,

"Cool! Don't be late. Your princess is waiting~" Amethyst cooed through the line which Steven blushed deeply at it.

Almost instantly Steven clicked the red button, hung up of the call, Steven let out an embarrassed and relief sigh, cheeks slowly burning low; knowing that he is your crush made his heart paced faster than normal, it didn't help out much as he expected.
