"Are you sure that Steven will be happy with this?" you asked, unsure of Amethyst's decision of telling Steven what you and Amethyst had been up to for the past few weeks.

Amethyst scoffed, waving her hand in the air while rolling her eyes. "Of course he will be happy! Well if he does get mad, he won't if you're there! It's a win-win situation!" Amethyst replied, shoved a blindfold to your chest and smile.

You unsurely looked down to the blindfold in hand and looked back at Amethyst before smiling and nodding which made Amethyst cheered in happiness.

You went upstairs to greet Steven who was still half-asleep 5 minutes ago when he awoke, you giggled at the sight and softly sat beside him which made him opened his eyes a bit and leaned his head on your shoulder which was stiffened as Steven does that.

Your cheeks flaming red and your heartbeat increases, you slowly inhaled and exhaled, looking at Amethyst who peeked down the stairs.

Amethyst pressured you and kept pointing at sleepy Steven, you glanced at Steven and nodded softly, clearing your throat.

"S-Steven?" you called, twirling the blindfold in hand. Steven hummed tiredly, hugging your side tighter as he slumped his chubby cheek further to your neck. "I-I'm not trying to bother you or anything, or anything same as that. I-I have this... thing... for you to wear but I-I'm not sure if you would-"

Steven raised his head away from his shoulder and replaced it with his chin, staring into your (E/C) eyes in worry as he tightened his grasp around you. "What is it?" he asked softly.

You blushed further at the gorgeous sight and cleared your throat before glancing away shyly. "I-I have this surprise to show you... But if you're that tired, I guess we can do it some other time-"

"You got me on 'surprise'. What is it?" Steven beamed happily, showing his white clear teeth in view.

You giggled, slowly the nerves and anxiety clearing from your heart. You shook your head. "I can't tell you yet. You need to wear this blindfold." you said, handing him the blindfold.

Steven raised an eyebrow in confusion. "Kinky?" Steven thought.

As he thought that, his cheeks went red and reached his ears, you tilted your head at the sight of Steven's burning face but he blocked your view and tried to calm himself down.

Steven nodded, taking the blindfold. "Let me change first, okay?"

You nodded respectfully and got up to leave, but Steven grabbed your arm and halted your movements; looked back in curiosity, you saw Steven smiling per usual but this time, it's wider.

"Forgot something?" Steven asked his cheeks reddening as his smirk went wide.

You raised an eyebrow and puffed your cheeks. "Forget...? My notebook? But today's a free day."

After several days of preparing the new Gems, you usually brought your notebooks and take notes around the Little Homeworld as revision material for the next year you'll be joining, it helped a lot but you still have tons to learn.

Steven shook his head and chuckled, grabbing both of your waists and pulled you closer to him who's still sitting down on the bed. "No, silly. My morning kisses." Steven reminded.

Your face beamed in realisation and gasped. "Oh gosh, I'm sorry! I forgot!" you replied, cupping both of Steven's cheeks.

Steven leaned in your touch, sighing lovingly. "No worries, I'm just glad you didn't leave yet." Steven said, staring into your eyes deeply.
