As Edward and Jacob talked outside about turning Bella and the possibility of death, Jasper pulled me aside. "If this all goes wrong, Bella dies, and Jacob actually kills Edward we stay here, we figure everything out with Carlisle, Esme, Rose, Emmet and Alice. Because there's going to be a lot of problems with Bella's family." Jasper said. I nodded. "But there's also the possibility that she lives, and gives birth to that child." I said. "Yes, but we both know if that does happen there's also going to be problems, possibly even bigger." Jasper said. "The Volturi will eventually want confirmation of Bella's change, and if they see the child, they're going to kill it, then Bella and Edward." I said. "And possibly the rest of us, except for you and Alice, he wants you to join them." Jasper said. "Jasper, if it comes to that, I'll join them, but only if they spare your lives." I said. He put his hands around my waist and kissed me. We haven't shared such a passionate kiss in a while, because of this mess. We were interrupted by Jacob's arrival.
Rose stood in front of him. "Rose I'm fine, really." Bella said. As I wasn't listening to the conversation I don't exactly know what was said. But I know he didn't manage to convince Bella to get the baby out of her, mostly because he ran out of the house kicked his bike into a tree, shifted and ran off to the woods.
